IIRC, Vega’s been cooped up in an apartment right in the middle of the crap storm and also got pretty sick himself. I’d say he deserves some understanding.

Vega didn't leave because of my post. He's smart and a big boy. My post, perhaps, gave him the excuse to do what he wanted to do, but it wasn't the cause of anything.

Can't even recall the last time I agreed with Psych, but I started to post the same sentiment earlier, that we should cut Vega some slack. Just the numbers of people dying in his community within the next two weeks is about as depressing a thing as I can imagine.

I haven't followed this thread. On most topics, I tend to keep my own counsel. I'm conceited that way.

On this one, I feel DC and PHD are pretty fu**in' smart, so I read their posts (and I think (think!) I have a bit more than a layman's grounding in bio).

They do VASTLY more homework than we do, and that's key to most everything.

I hope Vega comes back. It's a better board w/ him.

But I've read the post(s) that chased him away, and I don't quite get it.
