So how about Arbery case? Or is he no longer the biggest victim of the thread?

I think it's about 99% chance they both go to jail.
Depends on whether the press stops covering it before they find a prosecutor willing to risk their career.
Grand jury for indictment already happening.
Need a Special prosecutor for trial purposes.

You know who I blame?
The two dipshits who shot him. I know that's crazy, but when I see a murder, I blame the murderers.
i’m not necessarily arguing either way, but peoples’ actions don’t take place in a vacuum

On a town hall with a local judge this morning, Judge stated that for his criminal trials, members of public are refusing to come in when called for grand juries and trial juries, even when subpoenaed, because of COVID-19. You also have witnesses not willing to come in and testify.
I haven't seen anything on this particular case, but getting a grand jury convened could take awhile. Boiling point for the public may be a lot sooner than that.

When is a grand jury applicable and stuff?

Like do they need a grand jury to bring charges?
What’s the threshold of probable cause or whatever to at least arrest the guys?
Man why did I drop out of law school?

Prosecutor wants to use a grand jury in this case in no small part because of the high profile.

I heard the Grand Jury won't be seated until at least June.

And now, I really do have to spend my time looking at hotels to see which ones might take 2 dogs in case the fire gets closer and I have to evacuate.
Stay safe, Seahawk.

I'm pretty sure they had it all along.

Thanks, it was quite unnerving--we often have controlled burns in the state forests, but you could see the horizon filled with very black smoke. The evacuation area was just a couple of miles from my house. There was about a 25 mph wind yesterday which spread it a lot. The fire jumped a 4 lane highway and tourist like, headed for the beach. There were about 30 houses destroyed--tough thing when there's COVID 19 out there and you're homeless and have no stuff. It was a really wet winter so there's a lot of underbrush and it's been a very dry spring.
Supposedly we'll get rain this weekend. Hopefully, we'll get rain this weekend.

Thanks. Last week we had a tornado that was around our neighborhood and this week winds and fire. Tornados, fire, viruses. people are wondering where the locusts are.
