so, we should just toss up our hands and be ok with kooks in congress?
No, not at all, I think it's the opposite. I like that the nature of the House enables fringe ideas and policies to enter into public discussion. When the ideas are as bad as hers it results in a large bipartisan virtual beat down of her and the fringe she represents.
So now instead of the Q folks quietly, like, talking about overthrowing the Democracy, they get the public ridicule they deserve.

I wonder how many days into his term dt was before someone filed articles of impeachment against him.
Trump violated the Emoluments clause of the Constitution at 1200 20 January 2017. And then there was the Russian interference he coordinated. But Hunter.

What made Q such a useful prop for Trump was that he himself had trafficked in underage girls with his modeling agency and spent a lot of time with Epstein and Maxwell partying before their falling out. The new book on that period is coming out. Ironic that Q gave Trump cover. But stupidity is strong with them.

No, just the ones names as co-defendants with Epstein in cases brought by underage women who say that they had sex with them when they were 13.
"Plaintiff was subject to acts of rape, sexual misconduct, criminal sexual acts, sexual abuse, forcible touching, assault, battery, intentional and reckless infliction of emotional distress, duress, false imprisonment, and threats of death and/or serious bodily injuryby the Defendants that took place at several parties during the summer months of 1994. The parties were held by Defendant Epstein at a New York City residence that was being used by Defendant Epstein at 9 E. 71st St. in Manhattan. During this period, Plaintiff was a minor of age 13and was legally incapable under New York law of consenting to sexual intercourse and the other sexual contacts detailed herein"
...
"Defendant Trump initiated sexual contact with Plaintiff at four different parties. On the fourth and final sexual encounter with Defendant Trump, Defendant Trump tied Plaintiff to a bed, exposed himself to Plaintiff, and then proceeded to forcibly rape Plaintiff. During the course of this savage sexual attack, Plaintiff loudly pleaded with Defendant Trump to stop but with no effect. Defendant Trump responded to Plaintiff’s pleas by violently striking Plaintiff in the face with his open hand and screaming that he would do whatever he wanted."

Catchy phrases that look cool on social media platforms but they mean nothing and are not based in reality.

MTG is a complete loon, but she's not an idiot.
She's not doing anything other than what Hawley or Cruz wants to do. All three want to be President in a bad, bad way. And all three have seen that there's a segment of society that will gladly throw away their hard-earned money and savings at a candidate who, like Trump, hears them.
Hawley and Cruz swung and missed. MTG is a hero to millions and will likely make a ton of dough out of this.

It's the portion of our voters where you can be an incompetent idiot and still be seen as a viable candidate.

What about Trump’s character would make some on this forum believe him to be unlikely to rape or molest young girls? A book will be out soon, and he loses the ability to hide from consequences. A man with no impulse control is accused by more than two dozen women of sexual assault—and of having bought silence off many more. No pearls need be clutched.

It sure looks like entire states’ GOPs are going to be Q-driven in at least the 2022 cycle.

man.
One side is about equal justice and living wages and and affordable healthcare and environmental conservation.
The other side is about undermining all that to instead accuse the one side of being a bunch of satan-worshipping pedophiles and doubling down regardless of the accusations never really substantiating.
and guess which side is more prone to being labeled as “too radical?”

It’s almost as if Republican leadership, particularly at the House level,* can’t grasp that it was already materially less popular BEFORE this new schism.
Part of me wonders if this is because, due to gerrymandering, the House results (and even Electoral College results) are simply not representative of reality.
