I think he's probably a bit shell shocked at his limited role....and tbh, there isn't a huge opportunity for it to increase because he's essentially fighting to steal DH or Remy minutes, and that's probably not happening.
But the flip side is that he was pretty bad the last two months of last season where he was a full time starter.

I'm not sure his path through his offensive struggles, but it might just be he has to become a good perimeter shooter.

12% 3pt fg is unbelievably bad.

It is.
He shot 34 percent last season.
I bet he finishes the rest of the season around that.

My thinking as well.

His attitude seems okay, which is important in a scenario like this.

If he starts playing closer to his ability i wonder who he'd have a better chance of taking minutes from Remy or DH? My guess is sort of Remy. He does a lot of dumb shit throughout a game.

We still need to see the team against a good opponent before making too many assumptions on rotations. The teams that have defended us the best have sagged off of Dajuan. The half court offense could be a question mark going into conference play. Jalen along with CB will presumably be pretty important against upcoming zone defenses that push our perimeter players way into the backcourt causing a need for playmakers to get into the middle of the floor.

Jalen has a role on this team, but it's hard to think he will be inserted into he starting lineup like Self said he would be after his first game. His 3 last night at least looked like the best shot he's taken all season.

Remy is like a sophomore Frank Mason if sophomore Frank Mason had a court demeanor of Lagerald Vick.

I made the mistake of saying the last time 2 players were both above .700 in Crimscores was 98 with Pierce and LaFrentz but that was not the case. 2002 had Gooden and Collison.

Top 2 combined Crimscores since 1985:

1. 1998 - 1.57 LaFrentz and Pierce
2. 2002 - 1.54 Gooden and Collison
3. 2022 - 1.52 Braun and Ochai
4. 1987 - 1.51 Manning and Hunter

1-6, 0-1 FT, 2 turnovers, no other stats.
Do you really think Jalen had a good game today?

A .300 isn't a "bad" score necessarily. It's not good. Its meh. Or just barely bad.

What’s his best crimscore?

Didn’t he have like some 20 point double doubles last year?
