Stare and tares are what I start with--one could know right away if it is a plural form of a word.

You could start everyday with adieu to get a pretty good head start

Welp, now that it’s out, that’s one I use, and I still managed to fuck it up.

I used that word or something that has some common letters like Water, Would, Adult, Beach, etc.

The top ten most common letters in the Concise Oxford English Dictionary, and the percentage of words they appear in, are:
E – 11.1607%
A – 8.4966%
R – 7.5809%
I – 7.5448%
O – 7.1635%
T – 6.9509%
N – 6.6544%
S – 5.7351%
It appears that ratio would be a good starter word.

I lost this morning. Made a very stupid third guess and never recovered. Was down to the winning option and a loser at 6, and picked the wrong horse.

I almost joined you.
I picked three wrong horses in a row after a decent start.

I don't know how to do a "screen shot" and share it on here.
I tried and failed my first Wordle rodeo (not the word) the other day.
Took me 6 tries but I got it today.

Theres a share button after you complete it.
It should copy to your clipboard and then just paste here.

Thanks! It's on my clipboard but I'm unsure how to share it. I'll do a little research and figure it out.
Or maybe not. I really don't know why anyone would give a damn how I do/did on/with Wordle.
I do appreciate that CNB started this thread because I was unaware Wordle existed before he did.

"I'm unsure how to share it"
Apple/command + P.

Also, as a side convo we've had before, Wordle is a perfect example of why web apps should be the standard as they are open and not subject to the app store's guidelines or monetization.
Apple continues to restrict this by closing off access to functionality in their devices ( i.e. there's no actual good reason why browsers shouldn't have access to native notifications ) because they would loose control over applications -- this is the real reason why Flash was not supported back in the day.
