Be a Top 10 prospect AND come back for another season.
With NIL and new NBA Draft rules coming in, I don't know what prospects will end up doing in regards to early entry, but I don't think that this status quo will remain over the next decade.

Gradey looks like he could be playing rotation minutes for an NBA team around this time next year.
Just think what he'll look like by summer.

Best shooter in the draft and 6'8", I can't imagine he'll ever slip out of the 1st round. Round out his game and, yeah, lotto is certainly in play.

Hes klay Thompson all over as a draft prospect. Probably never be that good defensively as klay was pre-injury. But same offensive tools

re: tools, and rounding out his game, I guess I'm pretty pleased with how complete Gradey's game already is.
Yea, sure, there's always room to improve. But so far he's done so much more than just shoot - he finishes fast breaks and lobs, crashes boreds, scores off the dribble, moves well, doesn't look totally lost, isn't doing the dumb shit so many freshman and other players have done that would get them sat by the next timeout.
He's so much more and a lot better prospect than, say, Brannen Greene.

And probably 1-2 inches taller than Klay

them boosters digging deep at Kentucky.
4 top 10 recruits committed for '23 plus the #26 recruit.
Payroll like the Yankees. College Sports.

With no more coach K, Roy, or Jay Wright, it is to be expected that Self and Cal should both have some monster classes in the coming years.

The new question with recruiting is kind of an old one. Is it better to pay big money every year for the top 10 recruits one and done guys on a one year rental
Or pay for the top 50/top 100 guys that might stick around your program for a few seasons
Personally I'd rather have guys who stick around a few seasons. We've seen it play out enough at this point

Cal has no threat of punishment.
He can buy anyone he wants.

I am confident "KU" can pay as competitive of a wage as any other program in the country. Not worried at all about us being able to compete in the NIL market.

Now that NIL is in place, Kentucky and Duke are getting all the good recruits!
