If JD is only 50% of what he is normally you can’t play him. If he is zero threat to run you can’t play him. Tejas is T’ing off and you have to keep those ends honest if you want to keep running RPO.

God dammit, throw the ball far enough for the first down.
Telegraph the run on 3rd and 1 and still get blown up, then throw for -3 yards on 4th and 2. Just awful playcalling and execution.

Kansas needs to throw downfield. Losing yards on a 4th down pass is unacceptable.

Yeah. He has turned down gains every time. Not really back

KU’s only hope was to keep it close and make Ewers beat them with his arm. If Tejas keeps running the ball Ku is going to be boat raced.

It seems like the game plan is to start with pretty conservative, basic play calls and then open up the playbook as the game progresses. The problem with that is we’re down 14+ before the offense does anything almost every game. When we actually just play ball, we’re good enough to start scoring, but we’ve been lucky to win as many as we have playing from behind so much.
