this teams identity is way closer to round of 32 loss. than it is to elite 8 win.

Well, that can be said for all but about 5 or 6 teams.

As bad as we've looked at times, everyone around our seed line has looked similar (or worse) throughout the season.

We've got some terrible losses and some great wins.

I think if you're BYU you're probably ok with KU as your 3 if you're a 6.
Or Indiana State if you're an 11.
Or if Creighton jumps to a 2.

We've been particularly terrible dreadful this year at defending the 3.
All about the matchups if you aren't an elite team.

Feels like a year the toughness of the regional bracket day 1 may look a lot different by day 3.

With this team, and in this volatile year, no real reason to worry about any team other than the one we face first.
