lunardi now has statie as one of the first four out
Of all our loses this season I think that one stings me the most. K state didn't even play well that day
I thought KState played pretty well for them. They are not very good. That was a top 3 or 4 performance for them on the entire season.
It's crazy how many times you make statements like this without bothering to check on it first. This isnt even remotely true. KSU shot 41% overall, 35% from 3, missed 8 free throws and had 16 turnovers vs. KU. They have had multiple Big 12 losses, let alone wins, where they have played better than that.

Basketball also has this thing called defense. We are good at it. And that night, they were good at defense too.
Thanks for the stats though.
KState's best games of the season:
1. vs Baylor (win)
2. vs KU (win)
3. vs BYU (win)

Oh, and 35% from 3pt is above their season average from 3.
Oh, and they average 15 turnovers per game.
Oh, and their season FG% average is only 43.5%.
So my analysis concludes they had an average offensive game (stats wise), which is actually an above average performance for them because KU is 11th in AdjD... And they had an above average defensive game as evidenced by our performance and it resulting in their 2nd best win of the season.

An average game is not also a Top 5 game of the season. That's how averages work.

You don't read so well.
Rank the win wherever you want for them. I've stated my opinion and moved on.

UCF is a marginally better team than ksu but we had a 16 point lead on em.
That's the worst of the bunch.
Yeah that was a big blown lead. But personally didn't sting like the k state one did. Close second tho
But I don't have to listen to any dumbass ucf fans like I do k staters

They played with good energy but they really didn't shoot or execute that well. The game just felt sloppy all around

They never shoot or execute that well against defenses like ours.
They sort of suck.

But in the ucf and wvu games it felt like those teams earned their win in a way. Yes we still should have won those games. But ucf played hungry as fuck with defense they were locked in, and made a lot of plays on offense down the stretch. Wvu shot the lights out
It didn't feel like k state did anything well that game. If felt like they were bad and we were worse lol

Other teams have at times. Hell wvu even did

Yes. WVU shot out of their minds from 3 iirc.

Latest has us as a 4.
If we lose game 1 of big 12 and HD is known to be out by the committee I think we could drop to a 5 or 6.
Yuck.

I think we need to win Wednesday to avoid dropping to a 5.
Even if the committee thinks Hunter could be out for the tourney, they wouldn't drop us if we got beat by Baylor who is 14th in NET ( their preferred system ).
There currently are only 10 teams with more Quad 1 wins that we have and if Cincy wins and we beat them, that'd be another Quad 1 win.

Do they look at when those quad 1 wins occured? We haven't won on the road against someone good in what feels like an eternity.

We're no doubt trending huge red arrow down...and we've been f'd over by the committee in the past for ignoring what they have said was most important for seeding...but with a win over Cincy Wednesday and then a loss v a top Baylor team the next day I would say we stay where we are, as a 4.

If Hunter is out for the tournament our seed won't matter in the slightest.
The only reason I care about our seed is that it's pretty cool that Bill's never been worse than a 4 here. But I do not think we deserve a 4.

Let's be honest, even if Hunter is in for the tournament, our seed is likely not going to matter.

Strange feeling.
It's been a while since I felt like we've got no chance to win it all heading into the tournament.
Last year, we had major issues too, I guess.
