that's essentially what Arkansas and UK are both doing this season out if necessity. They each had/have 1 returning players

well yea..it was just s reference to pdubs standard BWW fans that have no allegiance to anything other than highlights and "cool" trends. That's what randy sounds like when he says things like "yea but can they win games, that's the only thing I give a shit about" comments.

Fair....but Creighton isn't UConn. I'd much rather play UConn. Defending champs. 2 best coaches in CBB. 2 of the top programs in CBB.

...even if Creighton is ranked a few spots higher at the time of the matchup.

I am not sure if it was an intended strategy to strictly use the portal for recruiting but Indiana University comes to mind.

After their initial only verbally committed recruit for the 24-25 season Liam Mcneeley de-committed, the portal was basically their only choice.

Now a month later it seems (on paper) to have worked well for them. signed Ballo, Carlyle and Rice.

Also picked up Bryson Tucker to give them another “try ” at a HS recruit lol.

JFC, 4 of the 5 top teams are from the Big 12. Houston, Kansas, Iowa State and Baylor will all be elite next season.
