Turns out the price of eggs is like "fiscal responsibility", "government spending", "deficits", "the rule of law", etc., etc., etc., only a problem when Democrats are in office.

So far, Trump's policies will raise inflation as well as the prices of groceries, gas, prescription drugs, lumber, what else am I missing?

Apparently it wasn't inflation and the economy after all.
cars and car parts will be hit hard if the Mexico tariffs go through

Egg prices (and $2/g gasoline) are the new Wall that Mexico paid for. Gullible fools don’t remember and don’t care.

Egg prices are estimated to increase about 20% in 2025, compared to about 2.2% for food prices in general, according to the US Department of Agriculture’s price outlook. Beef, coffee and orange juice are among groceries with higher prices, but eggs are uniquely impacted by the aggressive strain of avian flu, which has strained supply…

Eggs more expensive.
War with Ukraine still on.
Pardoned Jan 6th terrorists.
Shut down health agencies from communicating.
Made meds more expensive.

I have to admit I have not kept up with the price of eggs, ever. But it seems like it became a very important gage of how our economy is doing.

On my trip to HyVee two weeks ago I noted that eggs were $4.99/dozen. Last night they were $6.29. I can only assume that this is a sign that we are winning.

Sieg Heil!

To be fair, a majority of his supporters would count at least two of those as promises kept.

And his secret promises to the oligarchs are going as planned. But we have some pretty freaking stupid, self-defeating oligarchs.

I wish I was kidding but - it's gonna be, "vote for us in the midterms, or else prices won't come down."

And it might work!

He didn’t “promise” to pardon the traitors. He said “we will look at it”.

A simple distinction, and Trump is the King of plausible deniability.

Perp walking some brown people to a plane for TV is about like Ted Cruz in his “cowboy” boots posing by the Rio Grande.
