I saw MNF did a flash to EB on the sidelines. Wearing a hat, coaches jacket and was taking notes. I was thinking to myself we have the most expensive secondary coach in league history.

Part of what is so frustrating to me and what I can't figure out is how many busted coverages the secondary has and even worse is the tackling. The Chiefs tackling is embarrassingly bad.

So yesterday, Tyreek said that he looked forward to matchup with Ramsey from Jacksonville because he's a good player. Hopes he presses him so that he can beat him.

Ramsey then comes back today and said that Tyreek is good for what he does in the offense, and that he made All-Pro as a return specialist only. And that he went to the Pro-Bowl twice as a return specialist, not a receiver. And that if he wants smoke, he'll get it.

This game just got way more interesting than what it already is. I for one, am looking forward to the possibility of Tyreek getting a deep ball and then chucking up the deuces at Ramsey. I am definitely playing Tyreek for my team this week.

Jalen is a physical press guy but one on one he doesn't want any parts of Hill. I don't believe there is any corner in the league that can match up with Hill's speed. Most likely Jalen and Hill won't be matched up that often. With the way the Chiefs move Hill around he is very rarely the X WR.
Don't forget that the guy opposite of Jalen is a pretty good corner himself.

It is going to be a fun matchup. Jax has a great defensive but the Chiefs can score on them. The real key is going to be can the Chiefs defense make Bortles look average. If they don't get pressure on him he will carve them up and in turn this game could get out of hand.

Speaking of starting I would strongly consider starting TJ Yeldon this week.

I have Yeldon in both leagues.
I will be starting him one.
The other I have James Conner and Sony Michel over him.

Chiefs lucky they didn't get a fully healthy Fournette. He would have streamrolled them.

Games today and tomorrow.....

Titans -5.5 vs Bills (Toughest game for me to pick. Tits win by 10 - or Bills win)
Bengals -6 vs Dolphins (Bengals win by 7)
Ravens -3 vs Browns (Ravens win by 10 - or Browns win)
Packers +1 vs Lions (Are the Packers playing without any Receivers? Pack win by 17)
Chiefs -3 vs Jags (Chiefs win by 10)
Broncos +1 vs Jets (Broncos win by 13)
Falcons +3.5 vs Steelers (Falcons win by 10 - or Steelers win)
Panthers -6.5 vs Giants (Panthers win by 10 - if the game was in Jersey I would take the G.Men)
Chargers -5.5 vs Raiders (Chargers win by 14)
Eagles -3 vs Vikings (Eagles win by 15)
49ers -3 vs Cards (Cards will win one day. Not today. 9ers win by 13)
Seahawks +7.5 vs Rams (Rams > Seahawks but hard not to take a +7.5 home dog)
Texans -3.5 vs Cowboys (Texans win by 6/7 in OT)
Saints -6 vs Skins (Saints win by 17)

Lol. Ramsey just got burned for a nice one by Hill. Corners usually aren't good at keeping their mouths shut. Chiefs are looking good against a great D.

If someone would have told me that in week 5.......

The Bills and Jets would only be a game back of the Pats,
The Browns would have the same record as the Steelers,
The Eagles would be sub .500 (assuming they lose today),
The Bears would be in 1st place,
The Packers would only have 2 wins in 5 games,
The Falcons would be 1-4,
I wouldn't have believe him/her.

Drew Cool Brees just broke the NFL record - all time (yardage) passing leader. On a long TD pass. Go figure, right? Pretty kewl.

I remember when San Diego was shopping him after his shoulder injury.

I was hoping he would be a Chief.

He was a free agent with a destroyed shoulder when the Saints signed him.

Yeah, and the Chiefs chose not to take the chance.

And, it was 2005. The Chiefs defense was STACKED. Larry Johnson was a 2 year back. Tony Gonzalez was in his prime.

Fuck....

Sad face.

On another note, happy face for Chiefs having back to back Sunday night games. This week against New England, and then just reported that the game against Cincinnati at Arrowhead is now flexed to Sunday night. Current 1 and 2 seeds in AFC.

I love the late games. Spend all day with wife and kids, but then once 7 rolls around, it's all about the Chiefs game for me and sometimes my oldest will make it to halftime with me.

Which was more impressive last night - Rodgers and the blow jobs he has been receiving or Mabin and his being just as responsible (if not more responsible) for the Packers winning as Rodgers was - and the fact that he is on an NFL roster?

Somebody is upset that the Packers are back in the NFC North picture.
