"That is not who I am, it never has been".
Clearly it is who you are if you said/did it.
"Never" as well as always are words you should be very careful using because they can get you in a lot trouble in terms of your reputation and integrity.

Always assume the mic is hot.
Or just not use slurs at all.

We've had this convo.
I don't use that word anymore.
If someone were to say it in a private setting and was unknowingly recorded, I don't believe their job should be in jeopardy, but he's at his job, and his job is now likely in jeopardy, hence always assume the mic is hot.

...even in a slimmed-down production environment, that mic is
always hot to about 5-6 people.
This can't possibly be the first time he's said something like this. And he said this knowing people could hear him.
Time to go.

He should have been fired for his weird over the top praising of Tim Tebow several years ago. That may have actually been more offensive.
And yes, I thought about the fact that even if he didn't say that on air, he was saying it to several others. I can't imagine casually dropping the other "F" word in a professional setting.
This is also a very public profession with lines around the block of qualified people waiting their turn where people get routinely replaced without having a gaffe.

Remembering high school and college, we have come a long way--proud of my kids schooling me when thoughtless words spilled out over the years.

Two catchers interference?
Haven’t seen that one inning after the other.
Ever.

Mondesi blows it.
Bases loaded and a woman wins 25k if he hits a homerun.

Slam Diego got its fifth in six games. Had the bases loaded on Friday but couldn’t pull it off.
