So the CO governor apparently proclaimed a “meat-out day,” part of a campaign to promote the health and environmental benefits of removing animal products from a diet.

My county, among others, is apparently countering with a “meat-in day.”

ProudBoy, can you confirm whether “meat-in day” is some kinda Freudian slip?

It's not a meal if it doesn't have meat in it.

About 8 months ago a Black co-worker of mine who is Yale and Harvard educated told me when he was at Harvard his neighbors (I assume in Cambridge Massachusetts ) thought it was funny to call the cops and tell them he (and his roommate) were breaking in to THEIR (my co-worker and his roommate's) apartment. They (the neighbors) would stand and look out their window laughing and watching as the cops showed up and harassed them.

"Smithsonian museum apologizes for saying hard work, rational thought is ‘white culture’

Pretty funny, but also should be offensive to blacks.

Well, Disney is run by a lot of feminists and those who feel guilty for being white.

Disney+ removes 'Peter Pan,' 'Dumbo' from children's profiles due to negative stereotypes

You really have no idea how foolish you are. Do you?
A) If I asked you right now, without looking it up, I'd bet my $100 to your $10 that you couldn't name a single "feminist" who "runs" Disney.
B) How would you possibly KNOW for a fact that any of them feel guilty for being white?
C) From the article, "has now removed access to the films for children under 7". Ok, and? Doesn't mean they aren't still available and kids can't watch them. Right?

I am more than a decade ahead of Disney on Dumbo. I have never let my children watch Dumbo due to the massive amount of bullying as well as how they portray African Americans. Kids remember the weirdest stuff. I still remember a joke book that I checked out of my elementary school library that had an entire section of "Black Jokes". They don't need to see shit like that.

People forget how old some of this Disney stuff is. Dumbo was made in 1941. We were an aggressively racist country at that time.

Disney is one of the more fundamentally conservative companies out there. It's hilarious to hear Lobs trying to paint them as a bunch of radical left wing feminist loons.

cultural norms change

i’m not a fan of banning anything, necessarily. i think parents need to do a better job vetting the things their kids watch. but, i also have zero issues with Disney or the Dr. Seuss estate taking the moral high ground and restricting or discontinuing certain titles

Must have been hard for plantation owners to sit on their porch sipping tea counting their money while watching their black slaves work from sun up to sun down in the fields under the hot southeastern US sun...
