I like that guys point. No team is on the bubble. So there's not a team that has to play-in to the tournament by playing in the conference tournament, every single team is safe in a 68 team field. The conference tournament is pointless right now.

Cancel it.

I don't think it is a coincidence that KU, with our resources, hasn't had to postpone a game because of its own COVID exposure. We are in a position to play every game.

Let's use to our advantage. Make up the Baylor game whenever it can be played. Cancel Big 12 tourney and play 2 or 3 yet-to-be scheduled games between now and first weekend.

Completely uneducated guess, but I'd say that Kansas is probably one of 20 teams this year that didn't have to pause a single game due to covid concerns on their team. They are doing things the right way, it seems and they should definitely make it known too.

there’s definitely part of me that thinks KU (and others) should be rewarded for being able to fulfill scheduling obligations

If we are going to play games between now and the start of the ncaa tourney, I would prefer them to be against BIG 12 opponents. As opposed to the likes of the iupui's, umkc's, utsa's, coastal carolina's of the world.

I said the same in the bracketology thread. I wonder if committees do a little extra rewarding for teams that had no cancellations. I mean, they won't admit it publicly, but it would be nice to have like a couple seed bump for not cancelling any games. Like Kansas is a 16 in the NET, maybe they move to 13 by not canceling any games due to their doing.

in hindsight, I'm concerned about how we put our starters back in and our offense goes to shit

Ou has now lost 3 in a row and finish with Texas.

Pretty good chance we will face the Sooners or Red Raiders in 3/6 game.

Do we want Baylor or WVU to win their matchup?

If WVU wins we likely will finish 3rd. If Baylor wins we could finish 2nd but Baylor likely “wins” without an asterisk because they’d have more wins than anyone could get despite not finishing the season.
