That would assume facts not in evidence.

My favorite part....
From the outside, it may seem like wishful thinking, but such is the prerogative of a Q soldier: endure loss after loss, years of humiliation and disappointment, but never stop believing that you know a hidden truth and your vengeance is close at hand. Just have to wait a little longer.
.....sounds familiar.

We might expect such craven behavior by people like Ted Cruz, Marjorie Taylor Green, or Kevin McCarthy. But it's painful to watch people you used to respect and consider reasonable, someone you took for granted you could work with toward common goals, publicly demonstrate such fealty to someone so unworthy. Someone who is the manifestation and embodiment of all the character flaws our parents warned us about, like Donald Trump. WTAF!?

These people, the republican party, isn't serious. Where are their policies? What is their plan?

Sadly, it's destroying our country.

so, apparently the “merchant of death” just invited trump to russia in order evade prosecution, conviction…and death?

newsweek reports that a telegram was sent by bout to trump warning him that his life was in danger and offering him asylum in russia

What's the over/under history will show that the only good decision Merrick Garland made was to appoint Jack Smith Special Counsel?

"Jack Smith is not messing around. Wanna know why? He's looking to charge Trump with crimes under the Espionage Act. The reports that witnesses are being asked about showing a classified map to others violates Article 18 §793, a 10 year penalty.

I'm less of a Garland skeptic than most. I don't think there's anything wrong with slow moves, necessarily.

The wire fraud/RICO angle is a very interesting one. While it's not as made-for-TV as "try to overthrow democracy --> die in prison," it's probably significantly easier to get a conviction on than a more esoteric obstruction of justice or like charge (whether tied to the 1/6 vote count, or to the Mar a Lago documents).

The thesis of the criminal conduct is easy to explain to a jury: King Griftalot, knowing he lost, grifted rubes on false claims (and for a "legal defense fund" that never existed).

Oh yeah! What'ya think you are, a lawyer!?

I've heard for some time that the Jan 6 charges will be the most difficult to prosecute; that the DA in Georgia has a (much) easier job; and the obstruction charge re. Mar a Lago classified documents would be between them in difficulty, but not that difficult.

Garland, imo, is the dog being wagged by the tail, multiple tails, in NYC, Georgia, and by the House Jan 6 committee. He has a finite amount of time, and while he must be very careful for numerous reasons, if we are all the same under the law, what is he waiting on? And, to no one's surprise, Trump is already pushing the prohibition against coming at a "candidate" by the DOJ "rule".

I think you have to assume that, even in DC, a jury will have at least one rube-curious person. I would guess that it will be a lot easier to persuade that person with what amounts to a conman story (where the victims are folks), than a criminal offense (however serious) regarding procedural matters (where the victim is the gubmint*).

* Of course, the real victim of obstruction of justice and like crimes is...the people. But we're really in the weeds here.

Let’s play Exercises in Critical Thinking.

Here are a couple things in the linked article, that would make a rational person question the reliability of the source:
Leonardo DiCaprio testified in federal court last week that fugitive Malaysian fraudster Low Taek Jho, better known as Jho Low, wanted to donate tens of millions of dollars to the Democrats during Barack Obama’s reelection campaign in 2012.

He explained DiCaprio told a federal court, in a hearing at which "fugitive Malaysian fraudster Low Taek Jho" was mentioned, how the wanted man discussed his idea to donate the huge sum to Democrats that year.
“wanted to” and “idea” - so, this didn’t happen. This rhymes with the dumbass logic of pointing to increased drug seizures at the border as evidence that border security is worsening.
Montgomery pointed out that for comparison, "the total amount spent by the government of Russia in their microscopic Facebook 'interference' case of 2016 was just $150,000, though the U.S. government managed to spend in excess of $32 million investigating the matter."
Lol - this dumbass, minimizing whataboutism tells you what you need to know about the source’s bias.
