Another dude that Mahomes made look good.
I'm just glad the Chiefs have fixed their own problems such that "grab this stiff off the scrap heap" is not a necessary thought.

Schuster would be a wonderful plan B if Rashee were to be suspended this season...but I think our WR room is fairly decent.

He played well and there’s been whispers about him starting.

I wonder if Bean has a realistic map shot of making the Colts roster.

He’s getting a lot of love on The Elon State News Service.

Ok, this is fucked up to me.
Austin Booker is listed as a Bears 3rd String DE. Meaning, he's 5th or lower on the DE depth chart.
Dude has proven he very well may be the best DE on the team not named Sweat.

Side note. I expect to get kickback for this but I truly believe it. Healthy, the Bears have a collective top 5 in the NFL DB group.

DE is deep for the Bears, kind of expect a trade for some of those "higher" depth guys. I think Booker is a solid keep. But I would love the Chiefs grabbing him off the practice squad. Or trading Skyy for him.

Another TD by foot from Bean tonight.

And we signed him.
I'm sure for peanuts.
He knows our offense and as I said above, if Rice is suspended, Ju Ju can fill in that spot ( certainly not as well ).

I’m just a guy who, all things being equal, would love to see Bean make it as a QB despite what I would consider to be potentially-fatal flaws.

And it would, to me, make all the sense in the world for the Colts to keep him around because, if Richardson were to go down, Bean can run some of his stuff that Flacco and Ehlinger cannot.

This.
So the path would be to keep Bean as the 3rd (emergency) QB, to where he doesn’t count against the 53 unless Richardson goes down. What that costs you is putting Ehlinger through waivers to keep him on the practice squad. I think it’s a close call.

What's the upside to Sam Ehlinger compared to Jason Bean?
I'd risk putting Ehlinger through waivers.

If he capably replaces Sneed as KC's primary outside corner this year then McDuffie won't be disrespected any more.
