And how
Behind QT
Re: Behind QT
you know it's the offseason when you suddenly find yourself dragged into yet another wrestling-a-pig-in-mud contest with illy....sigh
Re: Behind QT
Illy is on ignore. He's much less annoying that way. You could try it.
Defense. Rebounds.
Re: Behind QT
for the record, I do have him on ignore.
But, he can still quote me, which kind of diminishes the purpose and value of it.
As such, and more than anything, the ignore feature is little more than just a reminder to myself to avoid engaging illy. I should know better by now, I know I know.
I mean, wouldn't it be great if ignoring someone meant they COULDN'T quote you, so then you aren't tempted to see what they said in response to you, even though it's little more than shit like "you're fucking stupid" kinda QT trash talk?

Re: Behind QT
My dev rate is a touch over 100/hour.
If KU players ain't doin' it for the love of the game, I ain't no more.
Put in your requests and i'll give you a quote.

Re: Behind QT
Is there a minimum fee? Like you'll bill at least an hour? Or do you prorate?
Cuz I'm pretty sure it would take you like all of 15 seconds to just fucking ban Illy already.

Re: Behind QT
i do think that having someone on ignore should preclude them from being able to quote you
but, whatevs…
but, whatevs…
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

He quotes me too. I roll my eyes and move on.ousdahl wrote: ↑Mon Mar 20, 2023 12:03 pm for the record, I do have him on ignore.

But time is money.
I'd have to code that.

Re: Behind QT
Nor do the upgrades!
Re: Behind QT
For the record, I can see the point that illy actually contributes to hoops discussions and such.
The thing that gets me is, he struggles to JUST contribute to hoops discussions, without also becoming a giant doosher about it with the “you’re fucking stupid” kinda shit too.
And it’s not just a couple of isolated instances either, but consistently.
That shit’s just uncalled for.
Except in this thread.

He told me to jump out of a window the other night.
It wasn't very nice.

Re: Behind QT
the problem, imo, is his admitted intent

Re: Behind QT
I kinda wonder what he’s like in real life.
While road tripping thru IL last summer I offered to buy him lunch
to that he replied, he wouldn’t piss on me if I was on fire.
