How do you know that almost everyone you know is either vaccinated or fully vaccinated?
I log off the internet and talk to people. Most everyone in my circle is either vaccinated or fully vaccinated. Those that aren't, well, that's their problem.
Thanks for the response. I mean that sincerely.
You helped clarify that you meant people in your "circle". That makes a lot more sense to me.
I could very well be 100% wrong but my guess is I am not alone in that I have not confirmed with 80%+ of the people I know, if they have been vaccinated or not.
I did find out today in a firm-wide Zoom meeting that all employees who choose to return to the office must be vaccinated. I have very mixed feelings on that. No one is being forced to return to the office but I feel getting vaccinated should be a personal choice and I feel it sets the company up for some possible legal issues. Maybe not. Thankfully I don't have to know.

Mich’s position, “common sense” though it may be, would be promptly booed off the gop primary stage...
What exactly does the gop primary have to do with today?
You make everything political. You're a buzzkill.
Sorry.
Masks are not political for me either.
me either. It's like washing your hands wearing a coat, or turning on headlights.
It's not a big deal
do it when conditions warrant it
Don't complain like a baby when you have to do it.

It's not like those but I get what you mean.
A mask is far more annoying then wearing a coat or turning on headlights.

Washing hands then. I have to wash my hands a lot. In most instances its more annoying than wearing a mask. But it beats getting sick.
Masks are only anmoying if you wear glasses or do something active, or for important communication. Running into a gas station to get a snack is not annoying at all.
I remember going to like a shopping mall as a kid and having to wear a coat in winter even though it was hot in the mall. Wearing a coat was more annoying than a mask then.

No, in the instance of running into a gas station, not annoying.
But if you're doing a big grocery shop, more annoying than washing your hands.
Or if you're talking to a group of people, for work/fun, more annoying. Or you have to wear one at the gym, more annoying.

I get snacks if i'm on the road at a gas station.
Day to day, get my snacks from the grocery store.
I will buy booze from the gas station though.

Masks are also less annoying if you purchase a decent game one. Amazing how many people where masks that look very uncomfortable

Coat trumps mask on big grocery trip.
Also, I'm building a home gym...so, that point is moot.

I’d much rather wear a coat ( when it’s cold ) than a mask.

I remember when I started driving I could get gas, go in and get a coke and a snack, pay with a $20 and get change back.
Man, when did I turn into geezer?

Sometimes.
Beverages.
I coulda said getting band aids at Walgreens. Or walking from my car to the office. 90% Of the mask wearing I do is not annoying.
Including grocery shopping. Apparently that makes pdub outta breath though

A mask is far more annoying then wearing a coat or turning on headlights.
Regardless, here's the more relevant comparison.
Things more annoying than wearing a mask:
Not going to the movies, Not going to concerts, not going to live sporting events, not having in-person classes, not eating at a restaurant, not being able to go to a gym (before I had my own), or for so many loosing a job or loosing hours, etc.
These were all much bigger sacrifices than wearing a mask, yet mask wearing was the issue that became a political hot button topic. And in fact, mask wearing helped bring many of those things back sooner. It really should have been something that, though it's a mild annoyance, was embraced because it made so many of those other sacrifices possible prior to a vaccine.

For almost a year now I have had a (comfortable) spare mask in my car, office, jacket and back pocket. I would think everyone else would too, by now, but not my biz-ness.

Candy bars used to be like 3 for a dollar at a grocery store. I hadn't bought them in years or if I did never noticed the price (yeah, I'm a baller), but noticed they were
on sale for something like 2 for 4 bucks recently. I nearly shat my pants. Thankfully at my age I wear a diaper, but damn.

oh, is that the annoying part, you gotta remember to bring one?
I thought they didn't like physically wearing them.
I have spares in my car and office, too. Comfortable ones that fit my face.
The first one I bought was too small and it was kinda annoying, so, I bought one that fit, cause I'm an adult, guess Mich just has the one ill-fitting one, cause he's not, ya know, an adult?

At the gym today, I thought to myself how ready I am to not wear one there, but also thought that it has been nice not smelling all the B.O.

There are very few people who wear a mask at my gym. I start off with one and then loose it when I start breathing hard.
