Getting an MRI tomorrow; haven't done one of those in a very long time. What a weird week it has been.
good luck, hope all is well.
I hate those fucking tubes. they dont do well with my claustrophobia
Good luck, I had one that I could not fit in, My shoulders were just too big. I didn't know I had claustrophobia until they tried to shove me into that thing. Rescheduled with an open MRI and did much better, the fan at the back of the thing was a nice touch.

Suffered some nerve damage in my back. A combination of a long-ago fracture, a vertebrae that has displaced over the years as a result, 2 years of sitting on my ass working from home and 2 weeks of hauling my struggling dog up and down the stairs. Friday I helped her up the stairs and received a lightning bolt down my right leg as a reward. I spent all of Saturday and Sunday in bed/on the couch (yes, I had to miss the Mizzou game) because it felt like my nerves had been soaked in gasoline and lit on fire. If someone would have offered to kill me on Sunday, I probably would have taken them up on it.
The L5 nerve is apparently involved in many motions, including flexing the toes and feet. When standing flat flooted, I can barely lift the toes on my right foot off the ground. My foot has been numb, swollen and tingling since Saturday morning and feels like it fell asleep. They are hoping that with the medications they put me on and some PT that I can recover. Further damage may cost me the ability to flex my foot, which fucks up all sorts of things I enjoy like driving, skiing, biking, walking, etc... so I need to follow through on whatever they give me to do.
Brutal weekend with that and my dog passing Monday morning. At least the sport that I watched while stuck horizontally was awesome. Hoping the MRI helps us figure out any additional ways we can help me avoid further damage. I really have no interest in having two vertebrae fused together or in losing my ability to flex that foot so fingers crossed.

Yeah, if I was a bad fan enough to miss the mizzou game, I’d want someone to kill me too.
Just kidding. For real that sucks twocoach! Hope the prognosis isnt too bad and you’re able to get well soon. Sending good vibes your way.
And not to change the subject, just keeping the thread on topic, when I say I’ve randomly gone to the subway in town here 3 times in the past month.
Not good, I know. Except, the dood there apparently recognizes me and hooks me up with the meats. He randomly threw like 15 piece of bacon on a foot long the other day just cuz. Then on my club today, there was like over an inch thick of cold cuts, end to end, like easily 20 or 30 individual slices of meat. Even more meat than bread. Or “bread,” as subway calls it.
Anywho, hit me up if you might feel better enjoying a fast food sammich with like 6 pounds of protein on it, I got the hookup.

Terrible weekend twocoach. Hoping you're better and vertical soon.

You HAVE to choose one.
Ranch or Ketchup?
As much as I hate ketchup, that might be my choice. Obviously depends on what it goes on....

I really hate ketchup. Not a fan of ranch, but if I have to choose that would be it.

My issue with ranch is how overpowering it is. It makes whatever you're eating just taste like ranch.

No shit. My kitten (my gf convinced me to adopt) scratched my right eye a week ago, little shit. Tossed a toy up in the air and it landed behind me. She pounced on it and nailed me in the eye. Two days later I took her in for laser front claw removal. She’s an indoor cat and didn’t even notice a difference when I picked her up.
