Yes. He's scoring at a high level already.

Fwiw, not discounting anything, just providing context, he's doing all of this with Scottie Barnes (only played 4 of 8 games) and Immanuel Quickley (only played 1 out of 8 games) both out injured. Who will be 2 of their top 3 scorers this season.

Ochai also had 16 last night. Averaging 13pts for the season.

Raptors record 2-6.

Looks like it'll be either him or CB.

Depending on what you mean by "star".

It's their defense that is going to be an issue this season.
They could very well finish dead last in that department.
They currently are 29th out of 30 teams in defensive efficiency.

As of right now, Dick is averaging almost 7 more ppg, which is one of the biggest factors toward stardom.

But also as of right now, CB is more likely to throw down a highlight dunk, which is another one of the biggest factors.

here's to seeing both these stars shine!

Like I explained, Dick is scoring 7 more ppg in large part because Scottie Barnes and Immanuel Quickley aren't playing. And RJ Barrett has also missed 3 of 8 games. Thats their 3 best players, fyi. And they have a 2-6 record.

Christian Braun on the other hand is averaging 14.9pts per game on a much better team, who has all of their players healthy. Jokic has played all 7 games. Murray missed 2 games, but MPJ and Aaron Gordon have played every game. They started 0-2, but have won 4 of their last 5.

I think based on the above information, that CB is at a more realistic average for the season than Gradey is. To be honest, I think they'll both be in the 14-17pts per game range if they stay healthy.

But let's not get it confused, currently, Christian Braun is a better NBA player than Gradey Dick. In large part due to his defense.

I slacked with the lack of stats this morning. Sorry!

In other news, the guy who hasn't been playing is now suspended.
Hard to walk away from hundreds of millions of dollars is he's not going anywhere but the guy has to be sick and tired of being sick/injured and tired.

I won’t disagree that CB is better than Gradey currently, and yea largely cuz of defense, and even despite the fact Gradey is at the moment a statistically better scorer.

But one fun thing about Gradey is, he’s also younger - right at that age he’s growing into his adult body, his first season of high-level hoops in which he’s not a freshman or a rookie, and coincidentally the same age CB was when he started serving me up that crauw.

They're awfully close statsically shooting wise... gradey's averaging 7 more points, but he's shooting over 6 more field goals.

Gradey is shooting 47.3%. 16.4 attempts per game. 56.1% eFG. 21.6 pts per game.

CB is shooting 54.2%. 10.3 attempts per game. 60.4% eFG. 14.9 pts per game.

CB with the big game in a big time match up against OKC.

Statement game for Denver. Letting people know their run of being a contender isn't quite dead yet.
