Yeah we are. We are a one-party state until another rational and reasonable party forms in the tatters of the Oligarchs r Us party.

The term "othering" should be changed to "lessering."

Just got in to a "debate" with a person who looks like a man but told me and others - "i don't identify as a man".
Simply because I and two other people told him he was wrong about something Israel and Biden related - and then disputed his accusations with facts - he called us "bigots", "intolerant", and "threatening".
OY VEY!

Just preparing you all for what's coming. This professor was wrong in 2000, but has been right since then. Trump is going to win.
"Stony Brook Professor: Trump Will Be Re-elected In Landslide, Helmut Norpoth, who's correctly predicted five of the past six elections, gives President Trump a 91 percent chance of winning re-election."

If he can win arizona and Florida...and not lose Texas....then i think he definitely has a chance.
I am not sure a portion of our country will be able to handle it if he wins again. It'll be a total meltdown.

correctly predicted five of the past six elections
That's like bragging about being right about 63 of the 68 teams in the NCAA tournament.
I've also correctly predicted 5 of the last 6 presidential elections, I don't think that makes me an expert.

But the reasoning is what matters. Trump will win because Biden lost New Hampshire, while Trump crushed Bill Weld. Hard to argue with that.

If, if, if....
If I ran for President and........
You say, it will be a total meltdown if Trump is re-elected. Maybe. Probably so.
What do you think will happen if he loses? He and his brainwashed nutcase supporters will be ok with it and congratulate Biden supporters with handshakes and hugs? Maybe. Probably NOT.

No they won't....but that is maybe 20% of all Reblublicans?
Nearly 99% of democrats will probably be in a never ending meltdown (similar to the last 3.75 years). Some of it legit. Some of it not so much imo.
I will be glad if he doesn't win...i would prefer biden. Even though they're both crappy choices (just 1 significantly more crappy than the other in most aspects).

Is it true Biden pulled all ads in texas today? That would seem to signal they know they're losing texas....
So does that mean this basically come down to Arizona Michigan and Florida? If trump wins those will he win again?
Wisconsin looks like it'll be close. Georgia closer than usual, but they'll need a huge atlanta turnout....north carolina looks like Biden. Minnesota close?

you can click through each state to see where the most recent polls are, as well as what the average is
florida is basically a tie, as is ohio...trump gets texas, but it looks like biden gets all the other battleground states if the polling holds true

The chances of Harris winning Texas are about the same as California going red. Florida and Michigan could be very important states, and PA of course.

Ya i have been using that site recently.
Fwiw they (538) had Clinton with 71% chance to win in 2016 (302 for HC to 235 for DT)....so many polls may lean Dem? Which is what it is. They are just polls.
My gut is Biden won't get all of the battleground states. 538 was wrong about Florida NC and Penn in 2016. I do tend think NC and Penn will flip to Biden in 2020.
I still think Biden will win.
Fox says DT leads by a lot in early voting/mail in voting....but i have no idea if that is true or how they determine those numbers.
