Believe it or not, and I know most of you don't believe it because you think if a big has it by the basket, he should be able to dunk it like Dok did, but Dave has been 'on' more than rest of the team who doesn't get shit for shooting 30% ( or in Garrett's case, 16% ).

He is 100% dependant on match up. He does not have the skill to beat a better player and his twitchy mental makeup makes him prone to melt downs like this.

Then again, this is why many of us are so hard on him.
Dave is hyped as our best player and wilts over and over in the games biggest moments.

Bill and Soft Dave blew this one. If McCormack made just one of his multiple uncontested dunks we win. I'm sure he's a great person, but I can't wait until he's gone. So soft and weak, despite his size and obvious ability.

I don't think he's hyped as our best player but he sure gets the most scrutiny here.
And he just sent this particular game into OT - which seems like a big moment.

With Soft Dave out of the game we extend the lead to 11 at halftime. He plays most of the 2nd half and we lose. No defense, no rebounds and can't make a 2-ft shot. Horrible.

And again, this applies to very much everyone else on the team, from players who think they can go coast to coast but are too slow ( Garrett ) or players who think it's good to shoot deep 3's with 27 on the shot clock ( Ochai ) or players who just plain turn the ball over ( Wilson ).

Dave is fine in the right role. Our Coach and fans rely too much on him.
