TCU hasn't beaten anyone other than big12 teams. They played a weak non con.
You're trying too hard to be down on KU this year.
Not trying at all. KU is doing all the work.
KU’s best win is a home win by 2 against Iowa State. But, let’s trash what TCU’s done.

KU has played the toughest schedule in the country, correct?
TCU around 80th. But their non con was awful. Like 300s.

And have generally lost to the best teams they've played, including some beatdowns.

What is TCUs strength of schedule as of yesterday?
What is KUs?
One has proven they are one of the best teams in the country, even though they've lost 3 games. The other is TCU.
TCU hasn't been to an elite 8 since 1968.
You can't pretend KU is so awful and then in the next breath talk about how great the big 12 teams are. KU is the best team in the big 12.

Maybe.
Tough to say that after we get our ass beat at home by over 20 to TCU.

TCU has 4 losses too. So have they generally lost to the best teams they've played too? Other than beating us?
Just seems to me like the scale of evaluation is not being used the same for each team. I get it, we are mad we've lost 3 straight. But this is getting silly.

at this moment in time, right now, roughly half of the BIG 12 is a contender. you chuckleheads can debate who those "half" is.
i eagerly await your conclusion.

It was 1 game.
When we lose, this team can lose badly.
TCU isn't better than KU.

I'm fine with saying TCU is not a NC contender either.
That's much more true and less silly than saying KU is the best team in the country.
No one's mad. A lot of us saw the slide coming.

When I was saying that KU had 1 loss and was ranked #2. It wasn't silly then.
We are KenPom #10 now, it wouldn't even be that silly now.
I can't imagine the response I'd get if I were as negative about the team as some around here have been during the losing streak.
TCU was the only bad loss. The other 2 were expected.
Heads will explode if we lose to UK Saturday. Even though they shouldn't.

I love Kenpom. I love metrics in general.
But nah, even then, it wasn't true.

The other top teams aren't that good either.
I think Purdue is probably the best team right now.
I do not think teams like UCLA Alabama uconn Marquette or Saint Marys are better than KU. I jusy don't. We have the best coach in the country. And a 1st team AA. And a lotto pick.

I think Bama and UCLA are.
I also watched UConn dismantle two B12 teams back to back around Thanksgiving.
Haven't seen them since but they looked pretty damn good.

UConn has lost 6 out of their last 8 games, including a loss at Seton Hall, who Kansas destroyed 91-65.
UCLA has lost 2 in a row now, @ #11 Arizona and @ unranked USC by 13, who isn't very good.

Agreed. People lose their damn minds about losses. KU has some warts that are being exposed by multiple games vs really good opponents who have had really good games against us. We aren't as bad as we've looked vs. them and they aren't as good as they looked vs. Kansas. KU will play better at some point. Hopefully sooner rather than later.
Kansas hasn't eliminated themselves from any of the goals they have set for the season. They can still win the Big 12, get a high seed and make a dep run in the tourney. None of those things are off the table as of today.

we haven't lost 4 in a row since 1989.
that, is another insane stat. Golden Era.

for me it isn’t the losses…losses are gonna happen
it’s how and why we’ve lost that’s a disappointment
