Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg (D) said Sunday that former President Trump’s ties to far-right activist Laura Loomer serve as a “reminder” of the “exhausting chaos” that existed while he was in office.

In an interview on NBC News’s “Meet the Press,” Buttigieg noted Trump’s running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio), was just on the Sunday morning broadcast, where he was asked about Loomer’s remarks invoking a crude stereotype to attack Vice President Harris on her Indian heritage.

“We’re not having a serious policy debate about immigration or any other issue, if you got JD Vance on your program, basically debating exactly how racist it is to talk about the things that Laura Loomer is talking about,” Buttigieg told anchor Kristen Welker.

“This is the kind of side show that they want to take the main stage so that they don’t have to talk about anything serious, and it’s a reminder of just how exhausting it was to deal with all this the first time Donald Trump was president. America would be in for another four years of this exhausting chaos every time we check the news if they come back into power,” Buttigieg said.
I hear stories of my wife's childhood growing up with a toxic narcissist father. Every day was chaos. After awhile you start to feel like chaos and terror are requisites for a full life. The chaos takes your eye off the issues of living with the person who brings the chaos. You are always in an "us against the world situation" and Mr Toxic is interpreting this latest situation he has created for you.

Just look at the recent frenzied behavior of our local rube boys. They have been posting crazed shit ever since Kamala hit the scene, because trumpty plumpty has gotten crazier since she showed up. Every time some new threat comes; assignation attempt, debate crash and burn, pet eating lies getting exposed, Russian disinformation peddling exposed they respond just a little more erratically and more frenzied.

And what was one of the big drivers in 2020 for 81,000,000 people to vote for old Joe? They wanted the crazy and the chaos to go away. trumpty plumpty is driving the crazy levels higher the closer we get to the election. It's the only form of control he knows. And the chaos addicts are lapping it up and spewing more crazy, because it is what makes them feel alive. And the majority of Americans are looking at this shitshow that the Rubepublican party has become and wondering, who the fuck are these people? Let's cross the street, vote, and avoid them.
Pete is (no surprise) already on it, but Vance’s outright admission that the right “creates stories” to get attention should be immediately superglued to every nonsense R investigation, every specious R false equivalency, every batshit R accusation.

If Trump/Vance will terrorize an Ohio town for effect, what won’t they do?

what’s sad is that the randi’s and psych’s don’t at all seem to care that they’re being lied to…even when it’s openly admitted that they’re being lied to

They don't care, they are addicted to the chaos. It's what makes them feel alive, feel special.

There is no bottom to what Trump would do. There is no line that Trump won't cross. He has stated as much in his own words. No media spin necessary. Listening to Trump admit what he would do should scare everyone.

That’s why this Springfield stuff is such a catastrophic own goal. It is giving all of us a specific, tangible, live example of what a Project 2025 world looks like. That is so much more powerful than scarifying hypotheticals.

Yeah, it shows exactly what the problem is in that they do not plan to worry about distinguishing between legal immigrants and illegal immigrants. They have openly proven that it is just about them being immigrants, whether they are legal or not. It's an attempt at ethnic cleansing right here on American soil in the 21st century. So repulsive.

You assume that I believe in the credibility of your sources when you make those kinds of assertions. To the contrary, you are the ones being lied to, and that is sad indeed.

"Should" is the operative word. But the faction in our society who would rather burn it all to the ground rather than share or admit they were duped, is excited by his words. They think they won't get consumed in the fire or even more delusional think it is their one chance at immortality, to become part of a pyrrhic final solution.

Their "legacy" will be like Joe McCarthy's, just another crazy shitshow in the dumpster of American history.

https://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-sho ... rcna171265

Trump: "“I can say this,” the Republican said at a press conference in California on Friday, “we will do large deportations from Springfield, Ohio. Large deportations. We’re gonna get these people out. We’re bringing ‘em back to Venezuela.” Trump added that he, in a second term, would launch “the largest deportation in the history of our country,” and Springfield would be one of the first communities he’d target."

That isn't media spin. That isn't me assuming anything. That isn't me trying to glean meaning from Project 2025. Those are his OWN WORDS. Do you just assume he is lying?

Here is video of him saying it just so you don't think he is being misquoted by the evil media: https://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-sho ... rcna171265

Don’t care to distinguish between legal and illegal.

Don’t care that the citizens MOST affected are saying stop.

Don’t care about whether the justification for action has any basis in fact.

Don’t care about the consequences.
We don't need more immigrants - legal or illegal - in this country when we can't even take care of our own people properly.

We don't need more immigrants - legal or illegal - until we get the border situation under control and can properly vet who we do decide to let in.

I agree that MOST citizens who are affected by this idiotic policy are saying stop. It is falling on deaf ears because it is by design to begin with.

It is ludicrous to think that you can dump 15,000 Haitian migrants in a town of 58,000 people - more than 1/4 of the existing population - and not expect blowback. This lands squarely on the Border Czar Giggles and the Administration's lack of concern or care for average citizens. It is blatantly dismissive and irresponsible.
Imagine a life so devoid of accomplishments that you feel the need to lie about working at McDonald’s.
