Pretty fucking amazing statistic I would say. Especially this far into his career. He probably won't hold it forever as he ages but still worth mentioning

Per 36 minutes? What kinda nonsense stat is that? I swear they just invent stat metrics

I think it's the league average ( minutes played in a game ) for starters?
Joel Embiid, while at KU ( 2014 ), is 24th place in PP40 for players under Bill Self.
Can you name the top 5 PP40 player's seasons under Self?
9th is Perry Ellis 2016.

Welp, no more Embiid and Simmons tandem. Simmons is reportedly not going to show up to camp and will refuse to play until traded.
Dumb way to force this to happen, but oh well.

76ers loose some collateral though since all the other teams know the situation now.

I had never heard of John Drew. Had to look him up. Another one of those 70s/80s guys who might have been great had they not gotten hooked on cocaine.
The rest of that list is elite.

I hope they get an elite shooter out of the trade somehow.

Probably looking at that through midseason trade--Seth and Danny Green are good there.
Just need any starting PG in return. At worst, they're looking at John Wall, which would already work better.
Lillard would be the home run here.

Eh. Situation has been known for some time.
Not a great outcome for Joel immediately, but I hope they take their sweet-ass time, fine him as allowed, and wait out the best offer.
