I was just thinking how nice it is to not be a resident on duty in the KU Med Center ER, which is a level-3 trauma center, but they took the victims to Children's Mercy, Truman, and St Lukes.

Truman is very schooled in the care of gun shot victims...

One former ATF guy said that by the sound of the shots in the recording, it might have been a Glock with a "switch", that empties the magazine with one pull of the trigger. I guess we'll see.

But: the shooter(s) possessed the gun(s), and at least 22 people - at least nine kids among them! - were shot.

Guy that tackled him was from up here in Omaha and it was his daughter that picked up the gun and backpack and moved it out of the way.

Also heard that all injured patients are expected to make full recoveries.
