Kinda where I'm at too.

I just CAN'T vote for Trump. He's failed at the position. You can't allow someone to continue at a job when he's done that poorly.

And I think we need someone who will try to do what's best for the country rather than himself, even if I disagree with what that person.

I just can't continue to watch my country be torn apart while the guy in the white house acts like he's on a reality tv show.

Pretty much my exact feelings as well.

Biden wasn't in my top 5 dems running at the beginning....but i was guaranteed to vote for whoever got the pick.

I do think the dem machine missed a chance to usher out the old guard by thinking that biden was the only 1 or 1 of the few that could beat trump, because i don't believe that. I actually think some of the others had equal or better chance to do that because most of us weren't voting for trump no matter what.

It sucks they picked biden....and it means a lot of us who voted for biden this time will be looking elsewhere in 2024 if he somehow tries to run for reelection.

I hope some of those likeable dems run again, and i hope the republicans find someone with half a brain and some fucking character to run in 2024.

I am wondering what he really felt about the Native American / African American woman moderator.
It would have been golden if she would have asked him if he would like to address her as Pocahontas.

Look at all that diversity in the Trump photo?

jfish26 wrote: Fri Oct 23, 2020 9:59 am Not that it matters, but I thought the most powerful moment of the debate last night was Biden acknowledging, without qualification, that he was wrong on the crime bill.
He very thoughtfully described what he thought was good and bad a out the crime bill in his town hall. Isn't that ultimately what our government should be?

1) Do something that you think needs to be done
2) Evaluate it to see what worked and what didn't
3) Determine if it needs to be thrown out or be fixed with adjustments

Trump doesn't seem to understand that. He doesn't even seem to realize that the improvements he's made to Obamacare that have helped to reduce premium costs etc... are exactly how Biden wants to improve Obamacare. Trump is actually helping to prove that Biden's plan would work well. He just wants Obamacare out because he thinks it will help him get reelected and because he cannot handle Obama getting credit for anything.

Yuck.

Although i guess it shouldn't be a surprise that many minorities wouldn't even want to accept a position under a person like trump.

I fully realize Trump doesn't choose most of his interns but it's always reassuring to know he's playing to his voters by fulfilling his 2016 promise - to make (and keep?) America white again.

Do you have any fucking clue that the man wasn't the President at any time over the past 47 years?
What the fuck has Mike Pence "accomplished?"
A lot less than Joe Biden did when he was V.P.. Right?

So we do not expect our elected officials to accomplish things until they get elected president?

We do here in the great state of Michigan. Maybe not in your toilet towns. But we expect and receive here in the Great Lakes State.

You do realize that we have Biden not because of the "Dem machine" but because a bunch of people who voted in the primaries were worried about the ability of any other Dem to beat Trump, aren't you?

Your great state had citizens attempt to kidnap and kill your Governor. FOH. Nothing about that state is great. Period.

But besides that, what did Trump do before getting elected president. Bankruptcy after bankruptcy and fake wealth. But whatever, he's not your typical politician and that's done him wonders, huh?

The list of things you can accomplish as the one and only President is different than the list of things you can accomplish as one of 100 Senators. I know you understand that.

The whole "hasn't accomplished anything in 47 years" shtick is just plain lazy.

After 47 years of empty promises you are more than happy to give jb a pass. But not dt after 3.5

That’s partisan.

An unnecessary worry they were led to believe by the dem machine.

Almost every single one of those candidates were capable of beating trump. Several moreso than biden.
