"It’s not altogether unusual for a player to ask Self if he can move a practice time to accommodate a money-making opportunity."
Woof.
Maybe this is why we can't beat UCF and WVU.
I almost rammed my own head into a wall there

What about Wendy's ads that would make a college graphics design intern shake her head in disappointment?

Rex Chapman
@RexChapman
Not in the book:
Had the University of Kentucky itself been paying me in college - instead of under the table (thru Boosters - ie. today’s NIL) then the school couldn’t have legally told me who I could and could not date publicly while in college.
But because the NCAA and the universities have been in bed together on this bullshit for years — athletes have had no recourse legally. We had to do what higher-ups said in order to have a chance to play “professionally”.
It’s a racket. Always has been. Until the universities start paying the players directly - as employees - it will always be chaos.
“Amateurism”. lol
I’ve seen athletic directors and school presidents recently PUBLICLY asking fans for NIL donations!!!
I feel like I’m losing my mind. What are we doing???
They have more money than GOD. And don’t pay their labor! It would be funny if it weren’t so tragic.
Imagine mark Cuban asking for donations from fans to pay his players. And not using revenue generated from the franchise. Lmfao.

That would probably be the straw that broke the camels back.
How do I change this to a Chiefs/Celtics bored?

It's like THE TOURNAMENT or whatever they were calling it, but for college teams now.
It'll be an elite field, that's for sure.
