You need a new schtick.
Reverse psychology is not your bailiwick.RainbowsandUnicorns wrote: ↑Fri Jul 19, 2024 10:27 am"Giggles" does a terrible job of communicating many of her thoughts. I can and will give you that.
What I can't give is that she is an "imbecile".
Why do I get the feeling you may compensate your own internal insecurities about your intelligence by expressing externally that you are smart and other people are "imbeciles"?
I believe if you were to take a little time to learn more about the woman other than she does a piss poor job of verbally expressing herself and she didn't pass the bar exam in California the first time she took it, and you didn't simply judge a book by its cover, I have a feeling you just might come to the realization she's really not an "imbecile". That's if I were to give you credit for being as sane and intelligent as you claim to be.
Yeah, but my overthinking things and attempting to consider two sides to every story (even if there really is only one side) is.JKLivin wrote: ↑Fri Jul 19, 2024 3:56 pmReverse psychology is not your bailiwick.RainbowsandUnicorns wrote: ↑Fri Jul 19, 2024 10:27 am"Giggles" does a terrible job of communicating many of her thoughts. When the "white Christian's way of life" becomes/is 100% hypocritical bullshit EXCLUSION instead of inclusion, then by all means I support a "war" against it. Not a violent war in which people die because of it. A war to address it in a manner in which we would unite as a country and address and actually start to try and do something about the issues ALL sides face and do it in a respectful united manner.

Did you also happen to discuss how the Republican Party would come to where they are today and nominate someone who has been convicted of sexual assault to be their presidential candidate?RainbowsandUnicorns wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2024 7:18 am I mentioned on the RNC thread that yesterday I had a lengthy conversation with a close relative of a very well known former politician.
I am very hesitant to say and share this because I have a need to be on team Dems but one of the things we briefly discussed was the election. He and I reminisced in regards to what I (and probably he - and probably many if not most people) believed and shared 8 to 10 years ago, that the writing was on the wall that the Dems might (and/or would) be where they are today, has come to complete fruition.
So.... Why did they let it happen? I have different theories but not a definitive answer. I'm not sure there is one.

pandemic far greater than the vast majority of upper tier nations despite the string of bad decisions made by Biden's predecessor.
And China? China isn't pushing the US around. That's just corny scare language.
