So I was in the shower this morning. My nose starts running. I wipe it and there's blood all over my hand. I look down and it's like the shower scene from Carrie. Freakin blood everywhere, the shower water draining is red. This went on and off for like an hour. Seems to be ok now, still feeling queasy.

Yuck, just thought I'd share.

What's going on with you? If you picked or banged your nose that's one thing but if you don't know why it was bleeding profusely- I suggest you at least call a Doctor.

This planes landing gear collapses in Miami and people have to escape the flames on the runway.

But someone escaping from the plane filmed their exit with their phone.

No.
Put your phone down.
Moran.

What is it with people who lack any type of skill backing up a car/truck/SUV insisting on backing into a parking stall? I see this more and more. Some moran will attempt to back up their Vee-HICKLE into a spot for 10 minutes. I don't get it. And how did they get a license?

its pretty sad. People rely completely on the back up camera now and look at nothing else. They make cars that park for you now. Most under 30 can't drive a stick shift.

"Backing in the parking spot" guy is one of my huge pet peeves. There are days I wish I had an old clunker and could just ram their car. If you want to do it and it isn't holding anyone else up? Fine. But if I have to sit here for 3 minutes in this parking garage while you do a 36 point turn to get your giant gas guzzling vehicle parked so it saves you 2 minutes later then you fucking suck. Your time isn't any more valuable than mine.

“while you do a 36 point turn to get your giant gas guzzling vehicle parked”

why does it always seem like it’s these types?

when i’m forced to take our truck out i deliberately park where nobody else is parked so i don’t even have to worry about it (or worry about door dings from people who suck)

that’s even worse, since she can’t blame the size of the vehicle on her inability

A very interesting observation: last year we had a short vacation in England and spent most of the time in Sussex, Kent, Somerset and Cornwall. We rented a car for about half of the trip, especially for driving around Dartmoor and Cornwall. While I had no difficulty adjusting to the stick shift being on the left hand and driving on the left side of the road, reversing was another matter.

Anyone who has been there will know those really narrow roads with the hedges, just barely wide enough for one car. When you encounter opposite side traffic you have to back up to the nearest pullout, which maybe several tens of yards behind. It was really difficult getting used to backing up straight while looking over the opposite shoulder than what I’m used to! Inevitably I would drive about 5-10 yards back, stop, pull forward to straighten up, then begin backing up again. A sheepish smile showed we were tourists

zsn - I smile being that our family experienced exactly what you did in pretty much the same place/s.
In 1980 we rented a yellow station wagon that we referred to as the yellow peril. At one point the local police pulled my father over making sure he wasn't drunk. The "roundabouts" were another thing that were difficult to navigate on occasion.
Anyways, in regards to narrow roads and going in reverse, the worst was when we were in Scarborough and my father was forced to go in reverse down a narrow road on a large hill. I had never seen my father have a look of fear like he had in that moment.
Ended up hiring a driver that night for the rest of the vacation.

Looks like something I would do if I was a minimum wage McDonald's worker who didn't care about my job. Or, if I was me with my buddies at 13/14/15/16/17/18/19/20/21 years old and felt like being creative.

Sitting watching the sunset and we got the birds flying around from tree to ground to tree but they are clearly thinning out as it gets later.

So I get birds find their safe spot to sleep once the sun goes completely down but are those last birds fighting the sunset naturally party animals, desperate for food or water so trying with every last moment of light to find nourishment, or are they dicks who already found nourishment and are just showing off?

sorry to randomly change the subject, buuuut

so beav went to a drag show.

and that's fine!

he was like super excited about it and everything.

but, I guess my question is, how can you tell if your roommate is a little too excited about drag queens?

Story time!

So you expect us to believe super Trumper Beav is suddenly into openly admitting he likes drag shows?

As far as your make believe question about your make believe roommate's persona, why would it matter? If it's "totally fine", then why run to a messageboard to talk about it?
