Hey Psych, your White Nationalism is showing again
You forgot the word "Christian".
I have a high degree of confidence at this point that a Harris/[Whitmer/Shapiro/Beshear] ticket would outperform a Biden/Harris ticket.TDub wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2024 11:51 am honest question. Are there voters that Kamala brings in that Joe doesn't? is that number of votes greater than rhe amount of votes potentially lost due to the switch?
If the answer to either of those questions is no, then it's not a winning move and they should either stick woth Joe....OR...move to a new ticket entirely and roll the dice.
Right or wrong, this is my OPINION. I don't have the definitive answers.TDub wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2024 11:51 am honest question. Despite the swirl of panic that potentially would ensue if candidates are switched, particularly if it'd not just a shift to promote Harris.

I am absolutely a nationalist.
Yeah, Newsome can run on promises to make the whole country just like California, and Whitmer can point to her track record of crippling the Michigan economy with her draconian overreaction to COVID.RainbowsandUnicorns wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2024 12:03 pmRight or wrong, this is my OPINION. YES, there are voters Harris brings that Biden doesn't.
NO, that number of votes is NOT greater than the amount of votes potentially lost due to the switch.
Therefore, I agree with you that it is not a "winning" move. Problem is I feel staying with Joe isn't a "winning" move either.
So.... Can they create a "winning" entirely new ticket? My answer is - no.
If I got to pick one. I just might go with Pete and Gretchen. Unfortunately, that's not going to make anyone change from Trump. It MIGHT make the independents and undecideds lean more Dem.
P.S. What tiny insight I have been given, the replacement order is most likely Harris, Newsome, Pritzker/Whitmer.
I say Harris and Pritzker aren't going to win you the election. Newsome MIGHT give you a better shot than Biden but I don't think he wins you the election. Whitmer probably doesn't either.
Or they can run on promises to not be Donald Trump. Which you would think and hope might be enough. Unfortunately it's not.JKLivin wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2024 12:11 pmYeah, Newsome can run on promises to make the whole country just like California, and Whitmer can point to her track record of crippling the Michigan economy with her draconian overreaction to COVID.RainbowsandUnicorns wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2024 12:03 pmRight or wrong, this is my OPINION. Perfect.
The only meaningful metrics to me are the economy, the job market, and the border. I don’t think I’m going to find anything positive on those fronts from Brandon and Giggles.RainbowsandUnicorns wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2024 12:17 pmOr they can run on promises to not be Donald Trump. Serious question.... I am not by any means saying you shouldn't find and express the faults and negative things about Democratic politicians but have you ever bothered to learn about positive things they have accomplished/done? I'm not saying you haven't - I'm just asking if you have.
Harris polls stronger than Biden when it comes to younger voters in general, especially younger Black and Latino voters, and women. It's assumed she will attract Asian Americans too, since she is half Asian.TDub wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2024 11:51 am honest question. I don’t agree with Vance on abortion. I do agree with him on not being Brandon.
I don’t have respect for stupid, incompetent people. Some of those people happen to be women.Overlander wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2024 4:09 pmYou share a strong misogyny
Ok, fair enough. You have your meaningful metrics, I have mine. I don’t bother to learn things that don’t matter to me, i.e. don’t make my life better. I’d call that efficiency, not ignorance.RainbowsandUnicorns wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2024 5:40 pmOk, fair enough. You say, "I don’t think I’m going to find anything positive on those fronts from Brandon and Giggles".
My response is, BINGO! You don't THINK! I thank you for proving my assumption was true. That you're ignorant (I probably mean "un-educated" more than ignorant) because you haven't made an effort to learn about positive things they have accomplished/done.
Oh well.

You’re implying that they did something positive within those domains? Doubtful.RainbowsandUnicorns wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2024 7:02 pmAs the great Jeeper would say - "JFC!"JKLivin wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2024 6:22 pmI don’t bother to learn things that don’t matter to me, i.e. don’t make my life better. I admit it, my head is spinning trying to make sense out of your post.
You listed things that DO matter to you. I asked if you bothered to learn the positive aspects of what our President and Vice President have done in regard to those things and you responded - "I don’t bother to learn things that don’t matter to me, i.e don't make my life better".
So please help me out. The economy, job market, and border, do matter to you - but they don't matter to you when it comes to educating yourself in regards to what our President and Vice President have done to try and improve them? Sorry, I just don't get that. I know, I know, you don't "THINK" you will find anything positive. Well, how are you going to know for sure it you don't try?
To me, "efficiency" is educating yourself on matters that DO "matter" to you and learning more about what our President and Vice President have done in regards to them. "Ignorance" is your "THINKING" you know and leaving it at that.
You THINK it's doubtful.JKLivin wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2024 7:22 pmYou’re implying that they did something positive within those domains? Doubtful.RainbowsandUnicorns wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2024 7:02 pmAs the great Jeeper would say - "JFC!"
