No, I just don’t think it’s necessary. If I have to type a special combo of keys on the keyboard for it to show for oh, so minimal of difference ( it’s a design pet peeve for print designers ), then I don’t think it’s that valuable.

It looks fine with serif fonts but often looks like dogshit in sans serif.

Same with the em dash - the hyphen does the trick - can you find the em dash on your mobile device keyboard? Give it up oldies.

I just wasted an hour because of something just like this. Double quotes in Jira apparently aren't real double quotes. Copy and paste json from there and try to use it, and you get a real wtf is going on scenario.
