Zero way that the Chiefs lose coming off a bye week to a team that will be very motivated to play well against.

Bucs is a toss up but the Chiefs are hard to bet against when they know they have something to play for.

Saints, see above.

Dolphins, I could also see that being the trip up and it is in the AFC if the Chiefs are after the 1 seed so that is one they can't afford to lose. I still like their chances against a rookie QB.

Broncos and Falcons should be lay ups.

Chargers could be very interesting. They always seem to play the Chiefs tough.

My guess is the Chiefs drop one either against the Saints or the Bucs.

Chiefs going to finish 14-2

And I think the Steelers go 15-1 - which means Chiefs might have to travel to Pittsburgh to revenge the 2017 bullshit holding call with 2 minutes left that cost us the 2 point conversion to tie it.

Chiefs lose to Saints. But win all the other games.

Steelers don’t have a crazy tough schedule, but some definite competitive games

Steelers are operating on a razor thin margin right now. I have a feeling that will catch up to them eventually.
With no true homes games this year the Chiefs as the #2, including that extra game doesn't bother me at all. I truly believe the only team that can beat the Chiefs are themselves (injuries withstanding).

Being 2 seed doesn’t bother me, but I also think Pittsburgh will end up 14-2

Reid and Veach get contract extensions.

Believe they are tied together in terms of length.

On his virtual presser today Reid was still clearly not happy about the Raiders victory bus ride around Arrowhead. I have a feeling we may see a Chiefs on Sunday like we have never seen before.

That's the most pissed he's been. He doesn't show shit at these pressers. But he definitely vocalized and showed through his face how mad that made him.

Yeah, the Chiefs might bring out their A game Sunday night.

Not a great look having three offensive lineman on the ‘Rona reserve list especially your two tackles and a guy you were hoping to get back off of injury.
Positive note Sneed will get work this week. I look for him to take Ward’s spot opposite of Bree.

Yeah not ideal. Seems the bye week may have been a factor. Not as much control over the guys.

Hopefully they test negative constantly and are back.

Much better chance they play because of close contact or tracing compared to actually testing positive.

All tests came back negative today. That is a good sign.

Also appears that barring anything coming up in a meeting with the team DeAndre Baker will sign with the Chiefs. First rounder who probably hasn’t played up to his expectations but did show a ton of potential in college and was high up on the Chiefs board.

2019's 1st cornerback drafted.
Has a lot of red flags but just a practice player, no long term commitment.
Started 15 games for the Giants.

My bet is he's there on the practice squad for depth with Sneed coming back.

It would be pretty fucking cool if the Chiefs are at the point where the culture is so strong that they can absorb guys like Baker without incident.

Of course, that's true...right up until it's very much not.

In a league that values the corner position so much to give up on a guy in his second year that you spent a first round pick on is quite telling. That to me says there maybe more underneath the surface.

If there was a place that a guy like that could revive his career and hopefully turn his life around that place would be KC. Veteran leadership on both sides of the ball, a respected HC and a front office that is humming on all cylinders.

Not a lot of people get second chances in life and this kid just got the Golden Ticket. It is up to him now what he wants to do with it.

I’m sure he’s on a 1/4th strike and you’re out plan. Don’t even think about causing the slightest fucking problem

Most of the Raiders defense not allowed to practice today ( and maybe not later this week ) due to COVID restrictions.
