Well I'd rather the Chiefs spend on the line to keep our star QB upright and give him time but you couldnt help but dream Mahomes and Julio.

But you spend on Julio and you dont have the line to give Mahomes time to make Julio effective.

Sounds like Kyle Long of the Chiefs may have broken his kneecap and will be out for training camp. LDT is going to get a lot of reps to earn that RG job.

I think their draft pick, Smith from Tennessee is going to get A TON of run. And that's great for them. He's great as long as his heart remains healthy.

I forgot about him being a guard. The benefit of depth is already showing through. I really hope that kid makes the roster and can be a contributor.

I was excited that Kyle Long decided to come back and play for the Chiefs, but I want to look at this honestly now. With the way the rest of the offseason and the draft played out, do we need him? With LDT back and such a highly touted draft prospect like Trey Smith, how much should the Chiefs depend on a 32 year old guard coming out of retirement and now coming off of a broken kneecap? I say start the year with the idea that LDT is the starter with Smith as his backup and give Smith every chance to win the job. Tell Long thanks for trying. I think I'd feel better with that situation than cutting LDT and rolling with Long and Smith.

Would you give us Breeland for him?

Quoted as 'lower leg injury' but not a broken knee cap. Has a chance to play Week 1. With that being said with no real reps at all in training camp zero way he starts. If he is rehabbing well you keep him for depth at the position.

Frank Clark arrested in LA with an uzi.

Why?

But also if he cant avoid a felony, can the Chiefs void his contract? That would be a win imo.

My first thought was Frank is from LA, isn’t he? Wouldn’t be surprised if past demons from an old neighborhood came calling or he is doing what a lot of athletes and entertainers do which is to carry guns to protect themselves.
IMO, not a huge deal but hey, if it can void his bloated deal and the Chiefs can get out scotch free that is a win.

More likely is he gets something like 4 games from the NFL and we still have to pay his contract.
So in the end, not good news at all.

Four game, which he appeals and it gets moved to two? At this point I highly doubt he gets cut or there is enough to release him without paying him.

Supposedly Clark has another gun charge in LA from March 2021.
