He's from Jersey City.
He played at Seton Hall and coached at Rhode Island in Kingston.

uh, sure... but, its also really really hard to keep up that level of excellence for longer than a 10-game span...

Five ranked teams played road games against unranked teams last night. Only one of them won. Illinois, Kentucky, Dayton and Colorado State all lost.

2024 College basketball in a nutshell.
Same team......
Lost to a team that didn't have their best player (who is currently averaging 22.1 ppg) by 30.
Beat that same team that had their best player (who is currently averaging 22.1 ppg) by 5.
Beat a team that at the time was ranked #1 in the country.
Lost to a team that is currently ranked 301 in KenPom.

Zach Edey had his 15th game of at least 10 free throw attempts last night.
Hunter Dickinson has done this just once all season. Ridiculous.

Duke's Kyle Filipowski sprains his ankle after contact with Georgia Tech fans that stormed the court after GA. Tech's win today.
Ban court storming. Ban any student that goes out in the court from all school athletic events. Enough of this. Players belong on the court, not the stands. Fans belong in the stands, not the court.

I agree court storming should be banned
I think he definitely got slammed into.
I think he probably was a bit dramatic with it. Almost in tears being carried into the tunnel.
The kid who ran into him went flying. Sorta looked like he tripped him to me. But I haven't seen zoomed in slowmo yet.
But, since it's Duke, it'll probably be changed tomorrow.

No doubt, but it's becoming a safety issue. Eventually, someone is going to get stabbed or something crazy. It's bound to happen.

That's sort of how I saw it too....but I am not the biggest fan of duke or that particular duke player so there is that.

I fucking hated it when ksu bumped Jamari a while back.
But I think court ( and field ) storming is a part of college sports and I love it when it’s meaningful. It’s just being done too much.
Of course it’s something that is fun and unique to college sports which, because we pay players now, will go away.
No fun police blare your sirens loud.
