.5 PPR

Guy offering me Jefferson for Swift and Aiyuk. I’m countering with Miles Sanders and Agholor for Jefferson.

Thoughts?

I have some RBs like Fournette and Swift that I feel good about. Also have Singletary from Buffalo and Darrell Williams (KC backup)

My WRs are Adams, Aiyuk, Boyd, Agholor, Samuel from Washington and Gage from Atlanta.

My WR would be stacked with Adams and Jefferson. My RB are just super low. And may be all season. Why I may try to compensate and just be tops in the WR category.

I probably screwed up and went Mahomes too early at 13, but I’m tired of not having him as he carves defenses up. But didn’t have many great options at RB when I went at 12 and 13. Don’t really like Ekeler or Gibson.

Did a trade.

Getting Justin Jefferson and James Conner
Giving Agholor, Miles Sanders and Tyler Boyd

I think Ekeler is going to be a fantasy football stud this year if he makes it through the season healthy.

I pick at #6 in a 10 team, 0.5 PPR league that starts 2 RB and 3 WR plus a flex. We finally went to 3 starting WR this year with how deep the position is any more. I recommended the bump to 3 WR after it seemed like we had guys on the bench getting 20+ points a week every week. Our draft is a week from Tuesday still so I have plenty of time to mock draft and prep for who I might have.

Someone will inevitably take Mahomes and Kelce in the first round. No chance I take either at #6. Too early for both in my opinion. None of the guys who have taken 1st round QBs have ever done very well in this league. It's just too hard to make up for having a sub par RB1 when there are so few really good reliable ones.

#6 in the first round means one of Aaron Jones, Ezekiel Elliott or Davante Adams with Elliott the least likely to be there still. Aaron Jones feels like the choice. He was great for me last year.

2nd round mock drafts usually has Ekeler, Ridley, Najee Harris or Antonio Gibson. Ekeler all day in that group.

3rd round WR options are usually Keenan Allen, Allen Robinson or Terry McLaurin. I would be happy with any of those three as my WR1. Allen probably has the most reliable QB.

4th round mocks have given me Kittle, Evans and Godwin from TB or Robert Woods. Getting a top 4 TE is my call there.

5th Round gives me another WR like Lockett or Diontae Johnson a QB like Kyler Murray . Still plenty of good QBs on the board so Locket gets the call.

Then it's just figuring out when I snag my QB, DST and K. I think I waited too long on all three of them last year so I'll target a QB in the 6th-7th depending on how early the run on them starts and my DST and K in the 10-12 range. There really isn't much difference between a 10th round RB or WR and a 14th round RB or WR. Just a matter of paying attention to depth charts and getting lucky with health. Should be an interesting year this year as we finally got our draft order early. We used to not find out which position we drafted from until we showed up for the draft.

I will never do a draft before all of the preseason games are done.

Irv Smith Jr.
Was my sleeper pick this year—no Kyle Rudolph, athletic.

Not even week 1.

Bummer!
I assume you know more than I do about NFL players so I am not even going to offer you a suggestion.
In typical Bears fashion, they have 4 TE on their depth chart who are ahead of the guy who may be their best TE. Jesper Horsted was a stud on Saturday.

Sheesh, looks like I had it pretty well planned out.

1st round Aaron Jones
2nd round Austin Ekeler
3rd round Terry McLaurin
4th round Keenan Allen
5th round Mark Andrews
6th round Adam Thielen

I don't think anyone in my league has a better top 6 than what I ended up with. Took Brady at QB and backed him up with Jaylen Hurts. Got the Tampa defense. The only place I got stuck was on my bench RBs but the waiver wire will be used to bulk that up as unexpected guys find bigger roles. Not a big fan of having to cheer for two Chargers but it is what it is.

Fail of a league if Keenan Allen made it to pick 35.
