Dumb way to force this to happen, but oh well.
Best thing thats ever happened in embiids career. They just aren't a good fit to play together. Joel needs to be surrounded by shooters. And Simmons obviously has a shitty attitude. He had a terrible performance in the playoffs. Because people know he can't shoot. So his response is to not show up, not put in work, and demand a trade. Pitiful

And it's on a giant long-term contract he signed. I have no sympathy for a guy who took the payday and security, but now doesn't like the commitment. Tough shit, I say.

has his jumper improved at all since he was drafted?

it looks like he regressed last year, but with negligible yearly improvement prior to that

i find it hard to believe that he’s been working as hard as he could’ve to improve that aspect of his game

I'm interested in Wiggins outlook with GS. What first looked like a definite short term relationship with trade written all over it looks now to possibly be a longer term deal.

Wiggins is a really good 3rd best player.
Salary is an issue tho.

GS does have to wonder how much longer Klay Steph and Draymond have.

Fwiw, it seems more likely Simmons gets traded for John Wall from what I have read....76ers fans may end up missing Ben Simmons if that happens. Another non shooter who isn't nearly as good at defense rebounding or passing.

I agree the match ( Wall ) isn't that appealing.

Wall over Simmons, and the latest drama makes it not even close.

I think Wall is doing the same thing (forcing his way out) of Houston fwiw.

Ignoring the differences in situations, it's irrelevant to the Sixers because they first just need players that will actually play for them and not be whiny quitters.

Back in 2013 when Wiggs was being hailed as a recruit, if you would have said he would end up being a better and more athletic version of Harry Barnes, everyone would have been impressed with that outcome.

Doesn't feel the same now.
