where do you think they should play?

Haskell?

LHS or FSHS?

alternate b/t Children’s Mercy and Arrowhead?

it’s misery…i get it, but i’m not sure there are better options

I'm guessing Mercy for every game.

Thanks to Grimes/Daniels, Arrowhead's going to be a goddamn tomb.

But that said - I'm not 100% sure there were other realistic options for the final four home games on our calendar.

There are SKC away games on 9/28 (TCU @ KU) and 10/19 (Houston @ KU), and I wouldn't at all be surprised if MLS requires the away team's venue to remain available in case there is a need to relocate a match. And I'm nearly certain (based on other leagues' rules that I know) that each team's venue is required to remain available during the entirety of the scheduled MLS playoff windows, which cover 11/9 (ISU @ KU) and 11/23 (CU @ KU).

Besides Arrowhead, what else could you do?

Play home games in Manhattan? No.

Play home games at Pitt State (capacity 8,343), Emporia State (7,000), Fort Hays State (6,362) or Washburn (7,200)?

I don't know, ask a donor for $10 mill or something to cover a difference, name a street/building/unlimited BJs from Corbin girls...whatever.

Do something like Northwestern?

Use the collective KU think tank to come up with something other than fucking IN Missouri?

Yes, anything. Renovate Haskell Stadium and set it up for use by KU Soccer? I know Rock Chalk Park exists, and is a great facility, but we are just brainstorming.

Seriously, Fish, anything other than Arrowhead. Sadly, I might be going to a game or more there, as if my dad's wife can't go, I'm next up, and I'm not saying no to going to a game with my 82 year old dad, especially now that I've trued up the account here with my sister in giving her my UNLV ticket.

Is Mrs Leipold going to tweet again about how our fans suck and don't show up at games and say she was hacked?

If it is true that CMP was simply unavailable, then I'm pretty sure the ONLY realistic alternatives would have been (1) those <10k D-II stadiums in outstate Kansas, or (2) something everyone would have hated even more: building a new KU football stadium from the ground up at a new location, such that you could play at Memorial during construction.

And of course that's ridiculous.

I missed this, completely, IRL and here. They seem like really nice people @ different KU sporting events. Of course, public appearances and such. Get the rope ready if we keep losing!!!

What did fish say about this year? It has a Senior Sherron Season feel to it? Sad panda.

I think i've seen enough from Leipold to know that, even if he went 4-8* this season, you keep him around.
No rope needed.

Speaking of Pace, we are on a 4-8 clip this season?

I think we should be favored v Arizona State, Houston and Colorado...but I'm not so sure anymore about the rest.

4-8 would be my floor.
I think 7-5 is now my ceiling.
