I am fine with people driving whatever they want so long as they don't bitch about gas while driving a giant gas guzzler that they aren't required to have on a regular basis.

This started about gas guzzlers and little dicks. I pointed out that big trucks for little dicks are also not safe.

Are you referring to the trucks or those driving them?
Either way, I'd say ask people such as Ahmaud Arbery, Timothy Coggins, James Byrd Jr., Sherrell Lewis Jr. but........

As a Gladiator owner, I say No

I will say though, folks who modify and lift trucks mostly do so irresponsibly.

I have built 29 Jeeps over the years, and my last 3 I built with safety and visibility as important factors when choosing components. Maintaining proper back to front rake is really key when doing so.

Also, choosing components that do not compromise what the factory has designed.

The “average” American doesn’t need a big truck. Buy a Gladiator, Tacoma, Ridgeline, Colorado, Ranger, etc.

besides dazzling us with your brilliance?

its even msn dude, why do you refuse to acknowledge that electric cars arent the silver bullet?

They make you feel better about yourself but the overall reduction of pollution and harm to the earth isn't tremendously less. It doesn't stop pollution, it redirects it away from the consumer so that they can be feel better and superior.

Electric vehicles are better....but they arent everything theyve been touted as, manufacturers need consumers, they have advertised well.

What about the energy and the footprint of extracting, refining and transportation of gasoline? What about those who use solar power to charge their cars? One third less emission is nothing to sneeze at. Also given the lifetime of an automobile the resources to produce the battery should be baked over the lifetime of the car. In a nonelectric car the emissions are forever. Also roll in the other associated carbon based materials needed all the time (engine oil, transmission fluid etc) the choice is quite clear.

How long will an electric car last? What is done with the batteries when it's discarded? Isn't there a lot of toxic stuff in the batteries? What happens to that?
