Yea, I'm surprised that hasnt got more airtime and discussion. I'm never (never say never, but as close to never as possible) in support of government seizures of private lands.

On the other hand, it seems there shouldve always been a buffer at all national borders that was not available for private purchase.

The difference being, whether the "official act" is done in exchange for "a thing of value" that's for personal, or national benefit.
