Weird that we drop 2 spots on KenPom tonight.
They had us favored to win by 10+ so doesn't surprise me.
Kenpom still doesn't like ISU that much.
Was a home game and we won by 1.

If we can take ISU at home without him, we can do the same v WVU.
Ideally, resting over a week can get him back @ OU next Tuesday, where I do think we'll need him.
Classic Jinx Post.

I mean, we'll loose by 40 to Huggins without Remy.

Wilson missing free throws is special though. He needs to get it together.

A similar discussion was had in our household. "They can't hear you Dad" from the 8 year old.

So Self has no idea on Clemence's timeline - busted his toe.
Pettiford looked good for all of one possession and then was chicken head cut off for the rest...but I still think he has a lot to offer down the line.

Remy out def a significant factor but so is this:
Tech, Oklahoma State and Iowa State are all 3 top 15 in adjD.
George Mason has one of the slowest tempos in college BB.

Self better provide some clarity on Remy. Is he hurt? A puss? What’s the deal. We need him Saturday.
Not calling him any name or anything but it was very strange to watch bench reactions and see some pictures of the final seconds. Remy had ZERO reaction to anything that happened. Stoic as Dejuan made the shot and had little reaction as the game ended.

Relative to my expectations for him this season, he's been awful. I thought he might be one of our leading scorers. Definitely thought he'd be one of our 3 best players.

"But no, we need to play inside out. But you can't play inside out against teams like that unless you can feed the ball to the post from the top because teams are going to side and then trapped from the baseline...The best way that you can attack it is when you can play in the channel and be able to feed the posts there. Jalen Wilson missed David or Mitch wide open right underneath the basket. The thing that I think has happened is, I think our guards quit, have stopped looking for them, which we got to change. And I think we'll do a better job of that moving forward. But I don't like the way our guards are throwing the ball to the guys, even if they can't score. We can play behind that. And that's not happening near enough."

Never change Bill.
But also, maybe play Dave instead of Mitch, then. CB and Och looking to throw the ball to Mitch on the block would be infuriating. Bad enough when it's Dave early in the shot clock.

Heavy dose of Dave and Mitch coming right up.
I wish we could get more talk like this from Self. Really gives great insight into what he's looking for and WHY.
