This has been consistent with the last couple of seasons. KC loses a game, ESPN crowns the Bills the new class of the AFC, then they lose a couple games they have no business losing and the Chiefs jump them again.

I think they are the best team in the NFL on paper - the most talented offensively and defensively.
But the Chiefs have a better coach and that goes a long way.

The Chiefs defense is starting to look pretty good with McDuffie and Gay back. The rookies are looking great. Leo and Furious George played really well yesterday. Clark coming back. The Chiefs can hang with anyone. . . .

Ok, you have a valid point so I'll go ahead and take away those teams, say stats don't tell the whole story, and present to you the Vikings. They are what, 11th in offense and 29th on defense in regards to ypg? Yet, they are 8-1 and tied for the best record in football.

Meanwhile, we both know a lot has to do with the opponents the teams play. Easier to look good against bad teams and bad against good teams. Thing that supports your argument in regards to the Vikings is that they are performing not well against bad teams.

Why I am not as concerned about the Vikings ( in the far hypothetical future ). That’s my whole point.

I forgot Clark has been out. With seeing what a huge addition both McDuffie and Gay have been, it will be great to get Clark back out there and get the full unit a few games together so they can start gelling ahead of the playoffs.

I just can't see the Chargers taking out the Chiefs unless they can get one ( or both ) of their premiere wideouts back.

Chiefs could face the Chargers and the Rams without their top WRs.
( of course, we might be out our no. 1 and no. 3 WR this weekend too )

I think the Chiefs drop this one.
Chargers will be desperate.

I questioned such an early decision to move this week’s game out of buffalo because of snow, but apparently they could get up to 6 feet, lol.

Buffalo is hard to love for that reason. That crappy weather always played its role getting them to the playoffs years ago. Then they would be exposed. Almost like the pre-dome Vikes.

Nope. The NFL used to make the away team suck it up.

in 6 ft of snow. don't think so.

In snow and inclement weather? yes. In a historic snowstorm? no.

I think with that much snow it'd be hard/unsafe for enough workers to get there to operate the stadium.

Yes.
I think it was more for the safety and logistics of all of the people involved with watching about 60 or so people run around on the field.

Hey PDub - Shame the Chiefs aren't playing today's Vikings team in the Super Bowl.

Vikings are....
