I'd have suspended him instantly on the news of his involvement and then waited for more information to come out.

Innocent until proven guilty in the court of law.
And i'd say that applies to even college basketball to a degree ( case in point, Bragg's incident with the woman in the stairwell ).
But this degree is murder -- so I don't think it applies.

I’m not sure where my line is. I know what side of it “bring a gun to someone at 1:40 in the morning” is. And that would be true even if nothing had happened!

The thing you all are wrong about is the need to protect the SEC from harm to its most prized commodity. The need is so strong that even Bilas went crazy. Alabama must feel pretty damned untouchable.

What are your thoughts about AFH pending renovation?

Rumor going around they might cut out the upper corner seats and put some video boards or something similar there and will have much more premium-type seating.

Awful.
$$$$$$$$.

Also bring back the LED board.
The opening video is pretty sick but give me the nacho animation instead. I don't need video replay to see something i'm watching live.

But since we're semi-pro on the verge of just minor league, F it, students should have less seating ( if seating at all really ), they should install box seats for all the high spenders and should rename it with a sponsor and move the dang thing off campus.

I don't understand why students get seats at all.

This is a money making venture and we need to maximize that at every turn.

And can we please get rid of the band? Those are seats that could go to more rich fans, the kind who show up after tip off and leave before the rock chalk chant.

And can we please please please get one of those flashy annoying led screens that wraps all the way around the arena. We need to jump on any and all trends as soon as they happen.

Have we thought about replacing Big Jay and Li'l Jay with new mascots. Maybe piggy banks that rich donors could stick cash into the asses of them. Larger bills in the Big Pig's ass and coins in the Li'l pigs ass.

Making more money will make the AFH experience so much better for everyone.
I only came to kick some ass...

Rock the fucking house and kick some ass.

i had my reservations when the Booth Family Hall of Athletics reno was announced, but was pleasantly surprised nice it was finished and i had the chance to do a near-empty walk through

lesson learned, i guess…let’s see what an actual plan looks like first, but i don’t like the idea of reducing the number of seats, even if only the corner bleachers

Who had Shaka winning the Big East this season?
FWIW (nothing) SI had them finishing 9th in the conference.

they're taking away your corner seats, so you'll be standing out on mass street?

Maybe I'm being naive, but I'll believe they're reducing capacity when I see it. I could absolutely see, as part of an overall modernization, replacing the scoreboard thing with a more state-of-the-art one with the bottom part that is more useful to those in the lowest part of the bowl. But corner screens don't really make any sense.

I suppose there could be some geometry where you replace corner riser sections with premium areas, and sell tickets on a (technically) SRO basis. But I do have a good amount of faith that we won't do anything that really cuts at, in a negative way, the character of the building and the experience.
