If feel my analogy was spot on if you consider it to be a comparison as to how a small percentage of people in a community can share their sentiment while being a representative of a community but shouldn't be considered the sentiment of everybody in that community.
If you run in to me and 20 of my friends in Chicago and we are all eating pizza at Salerno's and we tell you Salerno's is the best and that Giordano's sucks, do you assume everyone in Chicago thinks Salerno's is the best and Giordano's sucks?
Like I said, of course there are people in Springfield Ohio that are pissed the Haitians are there and they have been very vocal about it - but I'm not going to pretend the 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 YouTube videos you may have watched were of all the residents in Springfield Ohio and all the residents share the same exact sentiment as the people in the videos.

I believe this statement can be valid, as mostly true as well. Mostly as it is definitely hard to disassociate viewpoints from some of the vitriol thrown back and forth here.
