I know people got really upset about her confirmation of Kavanaugh but I don’t think there was enough there to stop him from being confirmed.

I hate the situation but as per her responsibility, I think she did fine there.

Even if you want to disregard or discredit Blasey-Ford’s testimony altogether, there was still more than enough to justify a “no.”

I understand that Thomas’ corruption has blocked out the sun here, but his financial history was full of holes, for example.

We’ve also learned that the Trump administration essentially kneecapped the FBI “investigation” that got Collins to “yes.”

Trump would have been entitled to nominate a different candidate, anyway.

As long as our country has gone/is going to shit, I say, let's either continue to take the 1st Amendment and allow our citizens to shove it up our country's ass or let's go ahead and take the 2nd Amendment to an extreme and allow people to shoot and kill these fuckers without any repercussions.
Being more sincere, I'll ask, what if anything is the solution to this?

I think, in 50 or 100 years, the story here will be that we were on much thinner ice than we knew going into Covid, and Covid sending all of us literally to our corners caused the whole thing to fall through.
