I've often wondered why you don't type using the Russian alphabet, it's not like it would blow your cover.

Dow is up again. Does that mean Trump's ALLCAPS HARRIS CRASH was wrong. Again?

it means that when the market is good, president is good. when market is bad, president has nothing to do with it.

I heard yesterday the Dow is up 7500 points since Biden was elected.

In other news:

Most large cannabis multi-state operators were notably higher Wednesday after Vice President Kamala Harris selected Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, a noted marijuana reform supporter, as her running mate for the Democratic presidential ticket.

In May 2023, Walz signed into law an adult-use marijuana bill that also expunged non-violent cannabis convictions. Sales in the state are expected to begin in Q1 2025...

Fun fact, the only three presidencies since 1929 that saw negative returns on the S&P 500 were all Republican presidencies.

I would say the more sound view is that there is much more noise than signal in using market performance as a proxy for a President's performance. BUT, if that's the exercise, then we should be grounded in the facts!

It's been legal here for about a year. There are only two dispensaries, both on Reservations. I'm told you can buy edibles because of some loophole in the law. I know the legislature is trying to come up with an equitable method of distributing licenses.

lol

I hope that when "weird" loses its altitude, they change to "creepy", because that's what they are.

Mich bringing the truth, dammit!

BTW, not one email or text asking me for a donation since the Walz reveal?

What have I been doing wrong?

Who have I offended?
I just got a text and a few emails earlier today.

all parties have their "weird wings of the party." but for there to be a "pro middle eastern terrorist" wing of the democrat party. that's a humdinger.

I wouldve gone with Kelly

pretty good counter to the "patriots' when you have an astronaut and a veteran. What's more patriotic than that?
FYI: Walz served 24 years in the Army National Guard, and, he's the highest ranking military person ever to serve in congress, Command Sargent Major, dammit.
but was he an astronaut?

sheesh, ok, I get it. You love the guy. He might be great? I admitted I don't know much about him.

hes probably a better option than shapiro...but I'm not a huge fan of Shapiro so, others might feel different
Seems like Harris made the choice because she likes the person and his fit in her administration and not because of what state they represented, which is great to me. It shows that she is building her team to succeed while in office, not just to try to get into office.

Of course you will get it if you really think about it.
While bland, low risk. Not Jewish. Not Gay. Not too young. Not too old. "Moderate" Democrat.
Middle America, average guy, military background.
Kamala the highlight of the ticket.
All makes sense to me.
i agree with that breakdown

i should’ve said i don’t agree, not that i don’t get it. i understand the strategy

I don't agree with the decision either but probably the safest?
Maybe the safest? Definitely not the most exciting.
