From what I just read, in 2023 20% (not 50%) of domestic flights were delayed. Pretty much the same in 2022. Many of them delayed for weather. Now tell me what Pete had to do with that.

Runaway inflation? Please understand that when you inflate things to such BS levels, it nullifies your point. Inflation is not at runaway levels and is not crippling at this point. This has been one of the quickest turnarounds of a rising inflation rate in our recorded history. Other times when events have occurred that drove inflation higher it usually spikes higher than what the most recent spike and takes longer to get back down to normal levels.
