Tonight I decided to watch some videos I have seen before but never get tired of.
I enjoy watching musicians perform when they know they are "ON" as a band - and acknowledge it with one another.
It was kind of crazy when randomly there were about 5 in a row in which I realized I had just watched a collaboration of dead people.

Vince (Bruce is alive) and Jerry -

As far as watching musicians who knew they were ON - and thankfully are NOT dead......

Great question. Answer is.... Sure. Why not?

I have a thing for Lotti Benardout. Looks and voice. Have seen Haelos perform twice. Once in a venue not much bigger than the Hawk in Lawerence. There were maybe 200 of us there - tops. Fantastic show.

Probably not most people's kind of music but if you have a good pair of headphones this should sound really good.

I think Trad and I would get along wonderfully in a music taste test.

He wasn't supposed to sing that chorus but the guy they hired to sing the hpok didnt show up and biz only had limited studio time so he just went for it. A classic was born, without that off-key, laboring hook that song is a dime a dozen early 90s record.

I'm someone who tries to appreciate ALL music and realize music is art. It's completely subject to personal interpretation. One man's gold is another man's turd - and vice versa.
Too many people are manipulated by what is and isn't "popular" so watching the Grammys can be painful for me. Am I supposed to be convinced this is the best there is to offer? How many great musicians are unknown - and why are some of these people making many millions - besides that they have a great label and agent?
All that being said, I just watched HAIM perform. I have never been more torn on a song. Didn't love it and didn't hate it but I am asking myself - why HAIM? Why are they so popular?
Problem for me trying to figure it out is that I heard a lot of other musicians music in their music. It's not too difficult to make something that's not original.
Someone sell me on HAIM.
