Old HS friend of mine lost his nephew to suicide. He was someone who suffered from depression but was seemingly doing ok up until about a month ago.
They are not blaming the coronavirus but they are saying it was a factor in his fear and depression that he had discussed with them.
So my question is - does he get added to the COVID-19 death total number?
I feel I have a valid argument either way.

That's an interesting response. Thank you for responding. I'm going to elaborate on my feelings in the "on the ground thread".

Good pickup, I didn't notice that.

I guess Bloomberg sees everything through a business lens?

Wouldn't it take more space than you have in Twitter mentioning Hong Kong's status?

And generate a bunch of angry Twitter replies?

It's a Bloomberg Business piece -- just part of the Bloomberg News network.

Well, missed my parents 50th anniversary yesterday thabks to covid. Though, secretly Im not super upset. It saved me a 15 hr round trip drive with 2 kids under 3. I may not have been able to make to anyway. Shoot, maybe this should go in the silver linings thread.

My wife's aunt (who I do not like AT ALL) has been in town for several weeks staying with my wife's parents, and I've been able to avoid the nightly dinners they would be wanting to have thanks to covid which is definitely a silver lining. Only had to see her once so far and only for about an hour (socially distanced outside having drinks on her parents patio).
